BoF, the cake looks yummy.

Vinny, your bathroom is gorgeous.

Shiney, glad your Grandma is better now.

I've had a look at Mill Pond, they look fab.
I'm going to order the book. I haven't really tried anything yet, and he does sleep through, otherwise I'd put it on the credit card!
Thank you for the recommendation.

I will photograph the daffodil cupcakes in the morning when there's some natural light.

DH is out with a mate he hasn't seen in ages and I am soaking my feet.

hellsbelles · 27/02/2010 22:13

DIB - I know she's boring but I think Jennifer Aniston usually looks good - is that a bad admission!?? Oh I know it is! No one else is coming to mind though.

BOF - thanks for clarifying on CF

Night Norma and SHiney.

Waves at Goobs.

O.k....off now as well. Night all

MyCatIsABastard · 27/02/2010 22:16

wasting - I've got the book (I'd let you have it but am too scared to give it away until the DC have left home ) and it is very good.

I'm off to bed now. Such is life. I remember when I would have been mortified for staying in on a weekend night (and most week nights), let along going to bed at 10:15 (even with someone!).

Night all.

bellavita · 27/02/2010 22:19

Night all!

DreamsInBinary · 27/02/2010 22:28

Thanks Hells - she is good, isn't she? That sort of groomed beach chick thing.

BitOfFun · 27/02/2010 22:29

I love Jennifer Aniston's look. I might be more realistic googling Jennifer Saunders though.

DreamsInBinary · 27/02/2010 22:32

I hear you, BoF

Having said that...I rather liked the Jam & Jerusalem image. If I were 15 years older, natch.

wastingaway · 27/02/2010 22:45

How bizarre, I was looking at a thread about craft themed tattoos on Craftster, and someone has a sewing machine on one leg and a KitchenAid mixer on the other! here

iggi999 · 28/02/2010 00:19

Hullo, you all in bed, or have you started a new thread that I don't know about?
Been to see Hormonal Housewives tonight avec Carol Smillie. Very odd to see her saying rude things on stage. Whole show was very rude, though not have as bad as an average night on mumsnet, obviously.

NormaSknockers · 28/02/2010 08:21

Morning all,

Those tats are bizarre wasting I really must get a photo of mine, I always forget it's there I sooooo want another it's just deciding where!

Tea anyone?

NormaSknockers · 28/02/2010 09:08

Toast anyone? It's WW bread

Ooohh, tea and toast, thanks Norma. How are you?

I have been for a run!

Tattoos are very strange Wasting.

I have no knowledge of sleb gossip. I am aware Mr and Mrs Cole are parting and that is about it.

Style wise with slebs....umm.. I was thinking of channelling Helena Bonham Carter this year

Last night was lovely, the Quartet that sprung from the Chorus got to the semi finals of Britain's Got Talent earlier in the year. There were really some spine tingling moments. A woman I know did a solo of Jennifer Rush the power of love and it was mesmerising with the choral backing (they sing A capella) and they did 'Lean on me' which reduced me to tears . My mate was lovely, she snuck chocolate in and we ate it whilst pretending to cough, even though it didn't matter that we had it.

They are doing another concert soon with a male chorus and I am definitely going.

wastingaway · 28/02/2010 09:25

Morning Norma, I'm up.
Didn't go to bed til 2 Sorting through old photos I'm going to scan later for facebook.

NormaSknockers · 28/02/2010 09:29

Yup 0.5 points a slice Shiney, it's not as nice as lovely thick sliced Toastie bread but handy to have in the kitchen when I fancy a low pointed snack We're in much the same boat, I'm a 16 on the bottom half & 14 on the top now I do however still have a 4 months pregnant looking bump!

Goal is a 12 but a 14 all over would also be fab!

Mitts bloody hell, good on you for going a run!

hellsbelles · 28/02/2010 09:43

Morning all - alas not in bed - just been doing child rearing stuff but DH has just taken DS to the cinema and DD is down for a nap so I have a few minutes to MN tidy up

Shiney - of course it's doable. No question. And all those lovely clothes are a wonderful incentive. I've got to do a clear out too. I have a feeling we have pretty similar cabinets full of lotions and potions from qvc - I feel guilty to have stuff sitting there that isn't being used. Will attempt to do it today.

Mitts - are you in a different country??? Here it is pissing it down. How the heck did you run in that?? Anyway - so glad you had a wonderful night...and particularly like the idea of chocolate smuggling

Iggi - gosh, good old Carole Smilie - I wonder why she isn't on the telly any more. She used to be on everything.

NormaSknockers · 28/02/2010 09:45

Morning hells, jam with your toast?

Tis pissing it down here too, bang goes my plan for a long walk with the DC today!

Am trying to decide between Special K or a bacon sandwich (with WW bread) for breakfast....

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 28/02/2010 09:46

Morning all

Just checking in so I don't go completely awol again!

I've done my first 8 minute meditation from the book I tried a year or so ago. I'm ringing up my old yoga teacher in a minute. I need to create space in my life for quietness and stillness.

Mitts! You ran!

Off to do yet more mumming - DH is working today.

DDs are practicing their times tables on a fab new game they've got. We've done a timeline of the 2nd World War and I have plans to make flubber today

And now I need to pee.

wastingaway · 28/02/2010 09:48

I've seen loads of craft and sewing tatoos on the net before, but that's the first baking one I'd seen.

I've always wanted to look like Helena Bonham Carter in Fight Club. With better skin though, of course.

The concert sounds lovely Mitts.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 28/02/2010 09:49

Hells, running in the rain is fun, but very annoying when you wear glasses! I need windscreen wipers.

doubleinstructions · 28/02/2010 09:50

Good morning ladies,
Why do my children get up at 7 on Sundays??
Haven't eaten yet hoping coffee will get me going.Would sell my granny for someone to bring me a big roast later.
Well done Mitts for your run,I know a bracing walk would perk me up...maybe later

VinegarTits · 28/02/2010 09:52

Morning all

Have had jam toast for brekka, off the gloss my bathroom now, the finnster has put boxes on the stairs incase of crocodiles

hellsbelles · 28/02/2010 09:55

Wobble - why aren't there windscreen wiper glasses? There should be

Yes please Norma - but the sugar free stuff of course.

Blast - DD is making noises - she usually does about an hour - blast
