Just about warmed up from a lovely trip to manchester, just about recovered from ds' barage of constant chatter. Caught up on the DM sage. cant say glad it has been concluded. Not something that matters to me and has been long forgotten/moved on from.

Nice young men.... probably much cuter then the statue of the naked man that was unavoidable as you entered the art gallery. MOSI was disappointing as it is undergoing renevations. But ds was a saint and the trip was lovely. Poor mitts was probably glad to get her bus. Lack of sleep & too much diet coke = non stop talking from DEM Was lovely though.

Was good. didnt have the burger king on way home. but have eaten a bag of giant buttons. saddly i am about to commit murder. Is it bedtime yet?

My cupcakes were burnt caramelised overcooked today. I iced them anyway and they're just about better than no cake at all.

Dh should be back soon, so we can get ready to go out for an Italian meal. Not been to this restaurant before, but it's nearby and we've heard good things.

I am making curry for dinner. Mmm. We had Chinese stuff at our friends last night, it was really good but took a lot of preparation.

The modern are was interesting. And erm.. well lets just say my science geekyness reared its head during the brief visit to mosi. Saw the radison. right in center and the malmason. Cant believe i have never noticed where they are. I walk past them alot and have done for years. Guess i never looked up before. radison looks nice.

Yes, Shiney, you're right, I need to say what I said before to DH. Things are ok for the moment, but I do find myself not wanted to express my fears to DH because rather than calm me down, he has potential to just get freaked out himself and then I end up having to calm him down. We are working on his pessimism, but in crisis/scary situations I don't feel like I can rely on him to keep a rational/positive spin on things.

JM was on Saturday kitchen this morning, said he was getting on all the shows while down in London for the weekend, as he lives in Manc and doesn't want to keep traveling down!

We went to Jodrell Bank today finally and were very naughty. Stupid me and DH were messing around on those Whispering Dish things, and not realising that everyone in the vicinity could hear what we were saying due to the amplification, spent about five minutes saying 'cock!' and 'bollocks!' into them Thankfully most people were gone for the day. Note if you ever go, it is NOT like the whispering gallery at St Paul's Cathedral where you have to be directly across from the person to hear anything.

I can assure you that far worse then cock has been transmitted. I remember on particular visit when at school when we discovered an affair between the supervising teachers

Jodrell Bank was ok, we didn't stay too long as it was kinda cold and I'm still not feeling that well. Have this headache that won't go and makes it hard to concentrate on anything science-y. But felt like we should go somewhere this weekend as DH has been saying for about a month that we haven't had a day out anywhere in a long time. We had a nice drive in the Cheshire countryside too.

Got my Baby Led Weaning book from the library today and when we stopped for lunch I snapped a pic of DH reading it while drinking his shandy. Will post it up on my profile, very cute.
