OK folks you know the drill, and if you dont pay attention:

We are a bunch of lovely ladies all shapes and size, here for chat, and moral support.

Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

He is truly dogshit, Nephew is so innocent and trusting that he would have signed anything. He found his other step sons cheque book when he was at uni and forged his signature and cashed a cheque for £15k, first thing newphew knew was when he went to the cash point to get money ou and found out he was slightly overdrawn. In actual fact he could have forged DN signature like he did with DH. Oh I am under no illusions why he tried the suciide attempt.

Jet - dont be too we dont have a great history of putting plans into reality...life gets in the way sometimes. I need to get my lesson plans done. havent done them yet. Not even thought about year 8 year. Am truely stuck. supposed to be teaching them about light. and ray diagrams but not sure where to start. Think it might be an alcohol night. Might make it make sense. Plus then will end up doing really random posts which i have done in a little while. guess it is about time to make a tit of self again.
Enjoy your dd free weekend. Nice to have time to not have to think about anyone else. Stay in bed to write essays etc. This half term hasnt exactly gone to plan. And need more caffine. Its not bedtime yet.

OMG i think that dogshit is being very polite in the circumstances. Fucking hell five. Can you step away from the situation or are you stuck in the middle of it?

OP posts:
NormaSknockers · 19/02/2010 17:34

Bloody hell Fanny - dogshit is far to good a word for him, what a nasty low life he is. So sorry you're having to be stuck in the middle of it all.

Jet - ooooo a child free weekend

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 17:38

can i ask DEM (as someone who is toying with the idea of a PGCE once i finish my OP degree next year) - is the teaching part actually worth all the paperwork?

(not sure that came out right What i mean is, is there enough good points to outweigh the bad)

Lizzylou · 19/02/2010 17:50

Bloody hell Fanny, what a complete scumbag

Have been swimming, with the boys and DH so not real exercise, but I was moving

Am exhausted, could just go to bed now, but am giving DH and his mate a lift to the football match.

Hells, hope you can get warm and mouse free soon.

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 17:54

Love the teaching aspect but it is hard when you are trying to teach an aspect that you are not sure about. I dont really have a clue about the light bit for year eight of the emulsions bit for year 10 which is why i am finding it hard. plus i find paperwork very very difficult. I was supopsed to have submitted 2 job applications this week but havent got round to it. also havent looked at the example assignments for sorting out what my research assignment is going to be. It is very demanding and i find the child care aspect would be an absolute nightmare if i didnt have my mum being so great. it is doable but difficult. Wish i had left it another year as miss spending time with ds and feel torn. really should have done more earlier this week. now struggling as i didnt.

NormaSknockers · 19/02/2010 17:55

Lizzy still counts as exercise in my book

Hells, if you ran around after the mouse it would warm you up

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 17:55

Yes and no it depends on how much you like teaching.

Five - happy birthday and your bil sounds a complete and utter knob - lets hope your SIL wises up to him.

Blimey - just watched the gypsy wedding programme. I just felt so sorry for the girl called June who looked so sad and scared.

Am intrigued to know how much the dresses cost though.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 19/02/2010 18:18

e are fine, they are in Kent, we are in Dorset, we have never wanted them to have any invlovemnt with us ofr DC's so well out of it.

Right probably won't be on until feeling very sorry for myslf on Monday, so see you then.

Have a good weekend.

NormaSknockers · 19/02/2010 18:23

tracey - it was an interesting programme wasn't it? I saw a similar programme a few years back & the dress in that (plus Tiara, veil etc) cost £20,000

Hope you're ok Fanny, you're allowed to feel sorry for yourself! Hope you have a good weekend

MitsubishiWarrioress · 19/02/2010 18:25

am wayyyyy up north Mitts - Teesside

DEM - i think the childcare, or rather the lack of it - is really making me think. I really struggled when i was working when junior was younger (full time social worker who always had to work late) as i didnt have any family close by to help out - still dont. And now i have 2 to sort, although junior will be old enough nearly to sort herself out.

Guess i have got a lot of thinking to do - i just kept plodding on with the OU degree, and not actually beliveing i would finish it anyway But now, i am rapidly approaching the time when i need to be applying to conventional uni - and it is scaring the pants off me. As obviously, and future job would really depend on my health and anxieties etc....

Then somedays i think i should just go back to social work as its what i know

The light thing is a complete mystery to me, but i can have a google if thats any help??

and sorry, forgot to say before, soh - the video was fab

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 19:08

Its not the light that is the issue, its the thermodynamic pigments. feel free to google and let me know what the hell that is all about. i certainly dont remember it being on the syllabus when i was at school.

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 19/02/2010 19:32

Are you actually an adolescent girl with supernatural powers, Vinny?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 19/02/2010 19:39

Well, it would explain TWC.......

I am dancing to Dolly Parton's greatest hits...she rocks

jetcat · 19/02/2010 19:40
TrillianAstra · 19/02/2010 19:41

Ooh, spooky Vinny!

Off for dinner round with some friends, they are cookign Chinese, yum!

Am very intrigued to watch this gypsy wedding thing, esp now I see it is a proper documentary. Rather than than bloody 'one born every minute' anyway, if I had to choose one of the current MN obsessions to join in with
