DS penis size?!

I wonder if any of you with older DS's can let me know your experience - this is nothing I can change but my husband and I are curious.

My 15 month old Ds is perfectly formed, and I thought everything was as it should be, but recently I went on a swimming outing with a few of my friends who have boys the same age, and their little chaps were all significantly more impressive down below (of course I wasn't staring but couldn't help noticing). My DS is about an inch and the other boys were about 2 inches.

Could the fact that they were circumcised and he is not be a factor (tho I would have thought that would work the other way round)

Do boys experience a 'penis growth spurt'.

I feel so shallow for enquiring about this, but obviously I want him to be happy and to be able to answer questions when they arise a few years from now, and hopefully help him accept it if that is the case.

FYI Dh is not freakishly small in the trouser department - simply average!

Ds2 was like this. Now 6 and it's the same as the other boys. I wouldn't worry just yet.

At fifteen months you can't tell how he will be when he's older! Please stop worrying.

I was once told that a man's penis size is inherited from his father, I don't know how true that is. Nobody is going to come on here and own up to knowing about their man and his dad :-) (unless they're in a soap opera).

PS - I just googled and apparently penises grow bigger at puberty. Phew!

Hi @Worriedmum0959 sorry it took me some time to recall my log on details! I wish I could tell you the answer but my son is now 15 and I have no idea how much growth has happened as he keeps well hidden! I did ask the doctor several times over the years about the issue but none seemed to think it was a worry. My advice is try not to worry, definitely hormones will have a big impact.
