DS penis size?!

I wonder if any of you with older DS's can let me know your experience - this is nothing I can change but my husband and I are curious.

My 15 month old Ds is perfectly formed, and I thought everything was as it should be, but recently I went on a swimming outing with a few of my friends who have boys the same age, and their little chaps were all significantly more impressive down below (of course I wasn't staring but couldn't help noticing). My DS is about an inch and the other boys were about 2 inches.

Could the fact that they were circumcised and he is not be a factor (tho I would have thought that would work the other way round)

Do boys experience a 'penis growth spurt'.

I feel so shallow for enquiring about this, but obviously I want him to be happy and to be able to answer questions when they arise a few years from now, and hopefully help him accept it if that is the case.

FYI Dh is not freakishly small in the trouser department - simply average!

I'm realy sorry, but this has to be one of the funniest threads of all time- not meaning to trivialise the subject, but some of the comments! Special mention to Janh's "ds1's is a stranger" and Fio's imaginary RL conversations

Well.. apart from anything else, (FGS STOP WORRYING!!!) there are different stages that penises can be in, the flaccid stage, the I need to pee stage and the 'Oh my that toddler just flashed me her frilly knickers' stage all of which can effect the size of the penis, so you can't count seeing someone else's penis for a few seconds as good unbiased evidence....

And they all grow differently anyway, you funny women!

Is there any relationship between penis size in young childhood and post-puberty?
And I thought that there was supposedly no relationship between dangly-size and erect size, in adults?

DS's seems quite petite compared to some of his freinds, but, my, it's agile!

That's what I was trying to say I mean ew if my DH's stayed the same length between the flaccid and the 'frilly knickers' stage I wouldn't be very happy!

I'm always having imaginary real life conversations too is that odd?

Fastaslep - i am REALLY worried that toddlers and frilly knickers have such an effect on your DH's penis size, i really am.......

Oh god Blu no I meant me in frilly knickers...generally without the frill, although I suppose he might like that

I agree Blu, very worrying about 'toddlers in frilly knickers'.

My Ds2's (age 5) is pretty damn small too I have to admit. I only really thought about it because my best friend's two year old has a much bigger one and always has.. which we have always laughed good naturedly about! But I have to say I do compare his now (not in a really concerned way) when we are somewhere where little chaps are running around commando.

I was vaguely hoping it wasn't something to do with his special needs (he has so many niggly things wrong with him bless him!).. but I gather from this thread that it is probably just normal! (He has been examined a LOT during various hopsital admissions etc.. and they always seem to check EVERYTHING! And no doctor has ever mentioned anything.)

I hadn't hought about his much until last week when I took my son swimming, there was a boy about the same age with a really long thin dangly one. it looked so different to my son but i suppose they come in all shapes and sizes.

Oh I have laughed and laughed....
We all want our children to be 'normal', don't we.
We don't want then to have small willies. We want them to be atleast normal, if not verging on being big.
Right ?

Have I gone too far ?

Oh jane,"really long thin dangly one", my eyes are watering with laughter.

My ds has a REALLY fat little stumpy one !!!

I couldn't stop looking it!, I haven't seen many 2 year boys naked so I didn't know how to compare to others!! God I will find my eyes always looking now! The power of suggestion is terrrible

I've no idea whether ds is small, average or well-endowed. But he is fascinated by it. Other night in the bath he started playing a new game: 'Where's toesies gone?' hiding them under the water and popping them out. Went through various body parts until he reached 'where's willy gone?' and got really confused trying to get it out of the water. Had to hide my face - do you think the image of his mother laughing hysterically at his willy antics will cause him major psychological damage in later life?

My DS2 age 9 mths has a degree of buried penis, I think. I must admit this has made me become obsessed with penis size. Something I never even thought about before but I catch myself peeping at other children at all available times . This got me thinking was DS1 normal, he started to look a bit small. I am embarrassed to admit I even tried taking a tape measure to him (he is 3.5) and he said 'get OFF mum' . I decided enough was enough BUT I am still embarrassed to change DS2's nappy in public and will always slip off if I can (embarrassed for him that is). Although the doctor and various others have told me not to worry I still do, and it doesn't help when DS1 keeps saying in the bath, 'he has a small willy, doesn't he?'

Hi @gallileo I know this thread is so old but I wondered what happened with your own. Did his penis look more normal over time? I have a 15month old with a buried penis and I just feel sick with worry for him and there’s not much online about it really.
