Sazzles - cheers me dear. Just responded to text. Both DC finally asleep. WHat a palavar! I swear DD has got PMT!

FB - Bloody well done! I knew you could do it. Now, if you could throw some of that my way I would be most grateful.

Alice - I'm very glad your feeling better and can eat. Tangerine jelly with grapes sounds rather lovely to me (and not in the least boring )

Five - Yup, don't want to dampen your success though with your DD. My DD does sleep all night once she's gone to sleep, we're just having 'I am a 4yr old and I know far better than you' issues with the little love right now.

YanknCock · 02/02/2010 21:01

Whew.....it took me over an hour to read everything and I probably still didn't register half of it. But feel caught up now!

And.....DS screaming again.

Oh well. At least I won't have to wake him up to go pick up DH after his crazy German heavy metal concert.

My lentil spinach thing was dreary sludge. And now I have a huge pot of dreary sludge to eat for the next few days--don't see how I'll get DH to touch it...'there's not even any meat in it!'

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 02/02/2010 21:04

Yank - lets hold hands whilst our DS's (and my DD) scream blue murder . Have to say, lentil spinach not doing it for me either.

NormaSknockers · 02/02/2010 21:05

Oh bloody hell BOF I bloody well clicked on that! Will I ever learn

FB - well done, good on you!

Yank - helloooooooooo! Sorry you're having a pap time, want some maltesers?

Shiney - your physic abilitys astound me, now if you could just tell me where I've put my bank book I would be most grateful

Sorry for Yank and MyCat's DCs playing up. Things will improve, I can promise you. I can't tell you the hell we've been through with DD2 (5) on and off over the years. Only now the good nights are outweighing the bad. 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

FB, well done on getting DC to bed.

Aw Yank, that's sooo cute!

Alice, Glee is funny/happy and can only help.

Flamingo, I totally get ya. Next door has three and I'm in awe of her getting them out of the house in the morning.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 02/02/2010 21:25

Sazzles - DD not so much refusing bed as screaming blue murder at random bloody things, tonights being... er... well.. I don't know what really! We did that with DD when she was about your DD's age and it worked a treat. It was just about the control really. Within 10 mins she'd given up and gone to sleep.

NormaSknockers · 02/02/2010 21:25

Sazzles I do that with DD - she goes to bed but she's allowed to play with her doll, read etc provided she stays in her room - works most nights & she usually crashes out fairly quickly.

I've heard about Glee. Is it good? I've heard some of the songs which sound OK.

DreamsInBinary · 02/02/2010 21:32

Bloosy hell - it's taken me all evening to catch up!

Yank - v impressed with your attentiveness there . I'm a bit more like Vinny - I've read and forgotten it all almost immediately.

Norma - WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! So pleased

FB - you absolutely rock!

Jaq - happy birthday, you blonde bombshell

NormaSknockers · 02/02/2010 21:32

I missed the start of Glee, annoyed as it sounds good!

jetcatisfrozen · 02/02/2010 21:36

sazz - thanks for the early birthday greets

FB - you know you can email/FB me any time, re home ed or anything??

I love glee i had mini dancing round the sitting room last week (and all week actually as we sky plussed it) as she loves beyonce's single ladies song, and thought the american footballers singing it was "silly"

Top excellent news - on top of finding a tenner burried in the couch, i have checked bank and they have refunded my money Not the charges yet, but hopefully they will be soon Had all but given up, as didnt have the energy to ring them back yesterday to cry again ask where my money was

wastingaway · 02/02/2010 21:36

I love it.

NormaSknockers · 02/02/2010 21:38

Glad the bank have refunded you Jet - fingers crossed they refund the charges too

Shiney, do you have something you can have or do first thing in the morning that will give you a kickstart?

Hot water and lemon? Spatone and OJ? Some lovely juice? Or 10 mins of yoga or a dance to a favourite tune?

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 02/02/2010 21:55

Shiney - have you been eating the same things for the last couple of weeks? If so then try some different foods that are low points - bagels for breakfast with a spoon of beans and a poached egg is only 5pts, errmm, mangetout, sugar snap peas, mini sweetcorn are all zero points and nice for snacking on ( I think). WW do some lovely pizza's, get the ww crisps (nacho's are lovely). Just try and vary it really is my advice (and some advice that I could do with taking myself).

NormaSknockers · 02/02/2010 21:57

Shiney - go to bed so that you are not tempted to eat anymore!

bellavita · 02/02/2010 22:05

I thought we were going to be thin girls together in our room in June?

Ok, you have eaten more than you should, but in the grand scheme of things, I am not sure anyway that you have been having all your points since you started. So, if you stop all the little extra's now, it will be damage limitation. You have done soooo well.

NormaSknockers · 02/02/2010 22:06

And on that note I shall bid you goodnight - niht all!
