Wasting - I have been making friends with all the loos in our house since Monday night, alot of people I know have a bug so probably that.

I can't wait until bathtime and pyjama time which should happen very soon. DH is going out tonight as I am feeling much better and he has been an absolute star with looking after DC's.

As I promised, I have kicked my arse into a better mood, helped greatly by making a WW recipe chicken/mushroom shortcrust topped pie for dinner. It said to use the scraps to make decorative leaves, but I did something else to cheer myself up. Will post a picture on my profile. Also did the cha cha in my kitchen in front of DS, who laughed hysterically.

Scan went really well, got loads of scan pics, and they have put me at 13+4 weeks, so nearly out of the rubbish first trimester

Have had a bit of a tricky day- no sleep at all last night with dd2 up a lot, and having a cold and snuffling too much to drop off, but I went to bed while she was at school. Have been running round after her and needed to venture out in public to buy her school shoes earlier because somebody has nicked her boots at school and she only has plimsolls otherwise. She has been a "challenge" this week, hence my relative absence on MN.

Evening all. Today I have mostly been eating CRAP! Got on the scales this morning and had put on 2lb and instead of sensibly thinking it's probably just water retention or something I've eaten like a horse instead!

Someone give me some dieting motivation please. I have been hovering around 12st 13lb and 13st 2lb for bloody bloody months and it is getting to me! 2 weeks til the big 40 hits and I would really really like to be 12st 10lb.

You have got to admit though Shiney, staying the same on the scales is good considering you had a couple of wobbles this week and also, the weight coming off will slow down too.
