DH was in a band! The were called 'The Wot'.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/02/2010 11:28

Oh and did I mention - he's meeting me at the station to 'send me off'? His idea. (smug much)

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/02/2010 11:29

Oooh yums Reality!

I love a great hunk of cheese surrounded by healthy things.

YanknCock · 05/02/2010 11:34

Reality that sounds sooooo yummy.

please remind me next time I make banana bread to give to someone not to make a double batch just to use all the overripe bananas! It is too tempting, should have sent it to work with DH for the skinny people at his office.

wastingaway · 05/02/2010 11:34

Yank, definitely! Multi-tasking and manual dexterity.

wastingaway · 05/02/2010 11:35

Yank, I've been taking most of my cupcakes with us when we see ILs on a Sunday. We're not going this weekend, so I'm going to make carrot cupcakes.

wastingaway · 05/02/2010 11:36

Reality, that does sound very yummy.

TDWP, that's soooo romantic!

TrillianAstra · 05/02/2010 11:44

Munch munch munch. BBQ almonds from graze box.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/02/2010 11:47

oooh banana bread - yums yums! I can never make it like my mums mine always eds up too soggy.

I'm now panicking about what to wear to the train station, lord help me.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 05/02/2010 11:49

Oh I love banana bread.

TrillianAstra · 05/02/2010 11:53

Is banana bread like bread in any particular way, or are you just all making loaf-shaped banana cake and laughing at me?

YanknCock · 05/02/2010 12:11

yes Trills, it is loaf shaped banana cake, but I've always called it banana bread...recipe from Betty Crocker cookbook.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/02/2010 12:13

Ssssh it's a cake really.

Right I'm wearing - grey jumper, burgundy pencil skirt, pinstripe tight red heels and black wool peacoat. Will coordinate marvellously with my orange suitcase

I've put a pair of jeans in my handbag incase the pencil skirt digs in on the train. hahahaa.

Oooh and I've got a lovely looking crayfish salad for the journey.

I'll be back on mumsnet tuesday or wednesday. Hopefully with more good news. Have a fab weekend my lovelies.
x

YanknCock · 05/02/2010 12:13

wastingaway · 05/02/2010 12:20

Well that just shows how much you love us, right?

Outfit sounds gorgeous, have a fab time.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/02/2010 12:22

Honestly it must be the hormones that have turned me into a hun.

I'm more excited about the 1/2 hour at the station than anything else planned for the weekend.

Squeee, mwha luvu's etc
xxxxxxx

TrillianAstra · 05/02/2010 12:23

Hello mad ironing woman. Are you saying that people are bad mothers or if they don't iron? Or just scruffy?

The clothes I'm wearing today, I don't think you would be able to tell if they were ironed or not.

Alicetheinvisible · 05/02/2010 12:30

I am a bad mother, i don't iron, and DD and i just went to greggs

traceybath · 05/02/2010 12:33

Vinny - another mad ironing lady here - just done ds's bedlinen as ds2 threw up spectacularly last night all over his and managed to get some on his brothers too.

So for a change I am exhausted but have done grocery shopping and hoover house and ironing - polish my halo.
