Chicken nuggets can cure the world mitts. tis a fact. Have survived ds' birthday. Nothing broken no meltdown. tis a success. eaten way too much and as the cake was decorated to look like the earth it had to be big enough for all the contienents so mucho cake left.

Trills, i had depo for 4 1/2 years. you need to watch your calcium intake due to the osteophorosis increased risk. It make me a complete pscho loon but wasnt helped but survere sleep deprivation. Have been off it for a year now and AF has hung around for 2 weeks this time. Not a happy bunny. That make 3 out of 4 weeks. Wish she would bugger off and give me some space to top up the old iron level. Oh and it killed my sex drive. completely stone cold dead. which then begged the question what the fucking point was it to have it when i was never in the mood for it anyway

TrillianAstra · 04/02/2010 21:38

Mmm, proper chicken nuggets are lovely.

Lizzylou · 04/02/2010 21:40

DEM, that cake sounds amazing!!!!!
In awe over here...........
Lucky your DS

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 04/02/2010 21:51

Actually mum sketched out the outline of contients from the icing i had dyed, rolled out but run out of time to cut and add. Have a picky on the camera when i find new batteries will put on my profile. But must warn you that the moon obscures part of the land mass and "the happy birthday candles just dont occur in rl"

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 04/02/2010 21:59

Chaos, cake sounds v good. I'm doing a hedgehog cake for DS birthday, not nearly as impressive as the world!

I think I'll have to turn down the earache offer (another one of DS current ailments). I hope it goes away soon for you.

Night everyone. I am off to bed in the hope that the currently non coughing DS stays that way all night and I can get a decent nights sleep.

YanknCock · 04/02/2010 22:11

Jet, glad to hear you are feeling better.

Lizzy, yes, if you come this way again you are most welcome to stop in!

FB, I also suspect hormonal birth control does me no favours with my depression. I stopped the pill (Dianette) in August 2006, and not keen on going back on even though it really helped keep my PCOS symptoms at bay. Since we are probably going to try for another baby some day and my cycle is weird at the best of times, I don't want to screw it up by doing anything hormonal. Am a bit scared of coils though. We have condoms that are going a bit dusty. When I start getting AF again I think I'll probably start with my temp taking/charting and just use that as birth control.

MyCat, your poor DS! Fingers crossed he sleeps. I just about died of gratefulness to the universe last night when my DS slept through again. Good luck with the job too, will hope for good news.

Mitts/MyCat, my new strategy is opening up Notepad and typing responses as I read through the thread (then copying and pasting)--my brain wouldn't cope otherwise.

Ooooh DEM, I want to see pics of that cake, sounds wonderful!

Also, it was you DEM wasn't it, that went to some cool science-y sounding place off junction 18 of M6 right? I've forgotten what it was, but remember mentioning it to DH and him saying he'd always wanted to see it. What was it? He wants to get out of the house and do something non-DIY this weekend.

Dancing did not go well tonight. We utterly suck at the cha-cha. But got very sweaty so good exercise!

Lizzylou · 04/02/2010 22:11

DEM, I am just north of Bury.

THe cake still sounds amazing,, as does your DS!
Don't be so modest.

iggi999 · 04/02/2010 22:16

More cake tonight and less cock. I like it

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 04/02/2010 22:20

NormaSknockers · 05/02/2010 07:34

Morning Gosh you guys wrapped up late last night

I feel horribly bloated this morning, but then again I do most mornings Anyone else get that? Do you take anything to help it?

Got the in laws round for dinner tonight & I've planned ahead so I know how many points dinner & dessert will be so will just have a very low pointed lunch to make sure I have enough points for it

How is everyone? Glad its Friday?

FlamingoBingo · 05/02/2010 07:37

Morning ladies

Yank - don't do natural family planning if you're still bfing and/or waking at night. It mucks up your temperatures and your cycles are really unlikely to regulate for years when they return - sorry! That is, of course, unless you don't mind getting pg

Right, must go bake bread to take over to friend's house today.

NormaSknockers · 05/02/2010 07:45

Late? I meant early!!

Oooo Flam yum yum to fresh baked bread

Good morning all. I am feeling so much better, so no more lounging on the sofa watching crap TV for me today, although I am getting strangely addicted to Bridezillas which is on at 9.00 this morning.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/02/2010 07:55

Hi all

NormaSknockers · 05/02/2010 07:58

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 05/02/2010 08:04

He's gorgeous and so lovely.

He plays the sax and is doing a phd in music performance at the moment - I went to his recital last night.

Imagine an Argentinian Brad Pitt - but hotter...and he has these adorable dimples. and phew....(fans self down)

NormaSknockers · 05/02/2010 08:05
