New thread here, someone do an into, i am too emotional

OP posts:
VinegarTits · 29/01/2010 09:26

This was his excuse:

Because his GF has dumped him again(for the second time in a month, she dumped him on xmas eve, but they got back together)

and his looney parents are still at war with each other

and he is just a lazy twat basically

so, just when we had got over ds2's clingyness about going there, and ds2 is now happy to stay over night again, he goes and fucks up his routine, so ds2 will surely regress and not want to go and stay over night, next time he bothers to have him

i despair!

OP posts:
VinegarTits · 29/01/2010 09:27

Sorry for moaning and swearing alot

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 29/01/2010 09:32

Maybe if he tried to act like a man and step up to some responsibilities his girlfriend(s) would have more respect for him ?

VinegarTits · 29/01/2010 09:39

Will never happen Trill, this is a guy, who at 34 yrs of age, still lives with his mother, and has never had a proper job

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 29/01/2010 09:42

morning all, posting as I'm terrified Trills will cull me

HF welcome - that is brilliant. As is Shiney's continuing weightloss.

Bella - it's so sad to hear you not your normal sparkling self. I hope visit with friend will cheer you up.

So many gorgeous blondes and soon to be blondes on here. I long to be a blonde but when I put a blonde wig on (for research purposes doncha know) I looked like Alex Reid

My SIL is blonde and tall and whenever I am out and about with her I feel like a munchkin invisible woman. Men literally swivel to look at her when they see that blonde hair

I'm at home today with DD. And she is currently at that most delicious age where she doesn't answer back but just smiles and giggles and wants lots of cuddles. I am looking forward to just wallowing in her scrummyiness today. I know it won't last and soon she'll be defying every thing and everyone....so I might as well enjoy while I can. Though I'm taking her to that germ hell gymboree later...so no doubt she'll pick up TB or something ready for next week

TrillianAstra · 29/01/2010 09:46

Blonde wig? That sounds fun!

NormaSknockers · 29/01/2010 09:47

Bloody hell - a new thread alreadY

Just sticking my head in & waving hello will pop back & catch up properly later!

hellsbelles · 29/01/2010 09:56

Trills - it would have been if it hadn't rendered me hideous. DH is fabulously complimentary to me normally (or perhaps I should say - not fussy!) - but even he balked at that!

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 29/01/2010 10:06

MOrning all. So I take a day off to deal with ill DS (poor child sick and diarohea yesterday, right as rain today) and there's over 400 posts to catch up on.

Jaq - Well done on the 8lbs, that is fab. Sorry, don't really have any advice on the essay, I did A Level lit but it was yrs and yrs.... (ad infinitum) ago.

er... and now I cannot remember what anyone else has said! Christ my brain is addled these days...

Oh yes - Sazzles - hope the car gets fixed and it is nice and cheap.

I would don a leotard but you would all faint at the sheer horror sexiness of it .

My news is, I did a sneaky weigh in this morning and I am UNDER 13st (by a teeny weeny smidgeon but who's counting) for the first time in about 8yrs! I love Weight Watchers!!!!

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 29/01/2010 10:14

RIght, I remember some things now...

Sazzles - you rodent killer extraordinaire!

Vinny - What a twattish thing for your xp to use as an excuse. You are allowed your swearing.

hf - hello, welcome and bloody well done.

hells - you DD sounds gorgeous, I love that age. My DD is now 4 and has an answer for everything! DS otoh is 11mths and is a scrumptious little munchkin.

Shiney - bloody well done on the 4lb. RE tracking the weight, when you log in you get a list in a box on the logged in page called Your Toolbox and the third one on the list is Track Your Weight.

And once again I should be working but no, I am here chatting. I will never pay the mortgage at this rate!

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 29/01/2010 10:57

FInished work, come back for a chat and noone here. I think my posts must be so boring that it just stuns you all into muteness!

Gets coat.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/01/2010 10:59

Right break time.

Hells - your DD sounds georgeous, unfortunately mine is at the same stage as Mycat's and as we are so alike temprement wise, all I can say is poor DH and DS when she is a teenager and I am menopausal.

VT - your ex is a twat, and sorry to all who though they were having a nice childless weekend.

Have been productive today, sorted out DC's clothes, have a small pile to send to my cousin for his son in Germany, and a small pile for ebay, the rest will sell steadily through the year at our local thrift shop/baby sales.

found another pile of books in the attic to put on shelves as well so that is my morning.

So far today have had tomatoes on toast with some cheese and currently eating a tub of Total yoghurt with passion fruit in it.

hellsbelles · 29/01/2010 11:06

Cat - I fainted at your fab weight loss news...hence silence.

Fanny & Cat - umm...I remember 4 with DS. Actually what I'm not looking forward to is when DD starts walking and refusing to go in the pushchair. I remember it used to take about 3 hours to do a 5 minute journey with DS...as he stopped to look at everything. Charming the first few times....but thereafter....not.

Fanny - shouldn't you be listing those books on Amazon rather than putting them the shelves. Think of all the lovely money

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/01/2010 11:09

I know Hells, have a small pile for Amazon and keeping an eye out in charity shops etc, and will go through them and be ruthless.

hellsbelles · 29/01/2010 11:11

good! You never know...it may work. I've got to do the same. We have so many books. And last time I listed some (old ones not new ones)...they did really well.

jaquelinehyde · 29/01/2010 11:32

Ssshhhhhhh!

I'm in the library.

So far I have written 0 words, not even the title.

I'm now using you lot as my displacement.

Shiney well done on the 4lb off - I have visions of you hiding under a desk at school in an attempt to avoid car woman

MyCat first time under 13stone in 8years! That's bloody fantastic well done you.

I think I might have a break soon all this work is making me hungry

Lizzylou · 29/01/2010 11:33

Yay to all the "losers", hope to join you soon.

Can I just say that DIB is a lusciously classy bird and has just made me tearful, thank you lovely lady x

Off to pick up DS2, can't run as my arse aches so much from the gym still.......

wastingaway · 29/01/2010 11:34

Mycat, that's brilliant! Well done.

Jaq, go and write the title now, and put headings for each section.

I've had weetabix, and OJ+spatone. And coffee.

Dad is here doing DIY. Very excited about finally getting the kitchen organised.

jaquelinehyde · 29/01/2010 11:36

Also I've been thinking if I'm really, really good all week food wise and I get some exercise in. Do you think I can be allowed to have a free day on Tuesday for my birthday even though I have weigh in on Wednesday?

Ooooh I don't know what to do, I really want to have a good week this week. So maybe I need to forfit the masses of food and alcohol the day before my weigh in, and just a have a few cheeky glasses after weigh in.

Decisions, decisions.

jaquelinehyde · 29/01/2010 11:37

OK wasting I'm off to do some work now

wastingaway · 29/01/2010 11:41

Think how much better you'll feel when you've written something!

You can have a treat on your birthday without having a massive blow-out though.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/01/2010 12:04

Well school dilemma has been resolved, the other school is now full, a friend phoned an her friend who is moving here in April has got the last place. We live near 2 army camps and apparently there are alot more families being posted here in the summer than usual, also 2005 must have been a very good year procreation wise

iggi999 · 29/01/2010 12:24

Dammit have missed English literature question, one thing I might have been some use at
What's with the two threads, thinking conspiracy theory here - who are you trying to throw off the scent?

FlamingoBingo · 29/01/2010 12:41

MyCat - that's fantastic!

Fanny - glad your dilemma has been sorted for you!

We are doing some good home education today - we are studying sixties culture in the USA and the black rights movement aka watching Hairspray

My favourite thing is thinking up ways I can make their games fit the national curriculum etc.
