I wish I'd had a brother, I might have been a bit more girly, instead of Dad buying me rugby shirts etc.

I had my colours done with my auntie a few weeks back & they did some make up there too, I wanted to scratch my face off as it felt so icky lol. If I'm going out I pop on a bit if eyeliner/mascara/lip gloss but that's all day to day I wear none at all. TBH I know so little I never really now how to put it all on!

I'm the eldest of 7 so have varying degrees of girly girls girls, tom boys & boystrous boys!

I had a big tidy up yesterday but already there are things on the floor that are annoying me, so i am going to nip to Ikea to get some funky storage boxes to lash things in

Then i am going to boots for some new foundation and some aquaban

Going to make a pan of soup that i can freeze for lunch and going to make a healthy dinner today

I am going to be good this week if it kills me!

We've been for a lovely walk with my parents and now my real dad and step mum are on their way to us for lunch. This evening we're having my two closest friends and their families over for dinner. DH says I'm sexier now I'm in my 30s

Shiney, if i was going to get a similar makeover to the Benefit one, with particular interest in foundations, which one would you recommend i try?? No more expensive than Benefit And where could i get it done at??

Norma - your poor DB....at 21 it sounds like he has a huge amount of responsiblity. I had trouble getting home from a night out...never mind support a family at that age.

Agree with Shiney that you need to look for consultants that have make up on that you think looks good. I do think Bobbi brown and Laura Mercier are usually quite safe ...particularly Bobbi Brown which is subtle in the extreme.

DP refered to himself as 'pushing 30' yesterday. I objected.

Just had 2 boiled eggs and toast with butter for lunch.

I have uploaded a couple of photos of the trial cake I have done for my friend's parents anniversary. Do you think it looks ok? On the actual cake which will be much larger there will be writing in the middle (which I have yet to practice).

I have phoned my friend to come down and have a look to see what she thinks but she is not in.
