Morning all.

Definitely agree on renewed focus. Have had my pot of total with passion fruit, and 2 slices of toast and marmite. Grand total of 4 points. I have been managing to save them as well so I am hopeful for this coming Wednesday.

The sun is shining, I have just waved DH and dog of for the day, just about to get the rest of us dressed and of to the village shops and then home. DS for a nap, DD to make shortbread.

Alicetheinvisible · 30/01/2010 09:01

Morning

Yes, i know the make up conversation is over (i was watching Midsummer Murders )But, I love all Benefit make up. The benetint is fab, i love the High Beam highlighter and i use their Some kinda Gorgeous foundation faker. It is solid in a little compact and you just smooth it on with the sponge leave it and within about 5mins your skin looks smooth and flawless but not like you are wearing make up.
I just don't seem to have time to wear make up very often. I have a couple of perfumes though i wear Marc Jacobs Daisy in the day and Agent Provocateur Maitress at night.

Jaq - Green eyes go best with a subtle gold or green shimmery eyeshadow.

FB - i feel like i will be this sorted, together person that has the answers in my 30's (yeah right) well, i have 4 1/2yrs to try

Off to a 2yr olds party this afternoon, is that the sort of thing you were thinking of Mitts loud and noisy with dancing

NormaSknockers · 30/01/2010 09:05

Fanny - make sure you do use your saved points at some stage, or at least some of them I saved points & thought it would give me a huge loss but I ended up staying the same as I hadn't been eating enough

bellavita · 30/01/2010 09:06

Morning >

I am ok Mitts thanks >

Ffs - it has been snowing overnight and it is trying again now.

I have just got up, felt quite light in myself, could not resist getting on the scales and I seem to have put the rest of the weight back on . After trying so hard (I have done weight watchers loads and loads of times - I am a lifetime member fgs so it isn't like I don't know what I am doing). Why does AF have to have such an effect (and it hasn't even arrived yet). I will get the peppermint teabags this morning after I have been to the hairdressers. What about green tea Mitts - is that supposed to be good too?

See typical old me, droning on about myself... how are you Mitts?

and everyone else?

Norma well done on the "right direction"

Shiney have a lovely day shopping, are you going on your own or with a friend?

Alicetheinvisible · 30/01/2010 09:12

Bella have a big

Can someone tell me to haul my lazy arse off the sofa, get dressed, get DD dressed and go to those poor horses who are waiting for their breakfast.

bellavita · 30/01/2010 09:15

Thanks Alice.

Get your lazy arse of the sofa girl! Good luck with the party.

God am I the flippin oldest on here ? I know I am old enough to be mum to Trills.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 30/01/2010 09:16

Bella, you do not drone on about yourself.. you are lovely and very thoughtful about other people.

Can you get to something like a Holland and Barret? They are usually really helpful and I am not sure if they do a Tea Tree oral application...Tea Tree is very antiseptic and might help clear things over the weekend.

Aloe Vera can also have antiseptic properties and I know you can take that orally.

I am doing OK thanks . I am trying to cut contact with Ex as much as possible without making him too aware (as he gets difficult) and I am tired of the emotional rollercoaster that contact with him seems to trigger. Counselling is still very hard but is definitely positive. I have laughed so much this week , I have really felt like my old self and people have actually commented.

NormaSknockers · 30/01/2010 09:17

Bella you ok chicken?

AF is a bitch, no, no a MEGA bitch especially when it comes to weighingin, when's your official weigh in day?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 30/01/2010 09:18

No alice...because if you get up then I will feel guilty because I am not even pregnant and then I will feel compelled to haul myself out of bed.

Anyway Mumford and Sons is on the radio so I am staying here until that track has finished!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 30/01/2010 09:18

I am 40 so dunno...what are you Bella?

bellavita · 30/01/2010 09:25

Oh ffs why am I so emotional I can't stop the tears now. Luckily DS1 is too engrossed in his laptop to notice.

DH and DS2 are going into town tomorrow so I will get them to call in to H&B and see if they can find something along those lines.

It is nice to see you happy and smiling. Laughing is good too - uses less muscles in your face than frowning and keeps you looking younger!

Right, am going to get showered before I dissolve completely and make an even bigger fool of myself.

Catch up with you all later.

bellavita · 30/01/2010 09:26

Norma it is Tuesday and Tuesday just gone I had put a pound back on and this morning I seem to have put the rest on

I am 45 this year.

Alicetheinvisible · 30/01/2010 09:27

Ok, i am going.....

I think Norma is the youngest(?) I will be 26 in september

jetcatisfrozen · 30/01/2010 09:28

thanks for the lovely make up ideas I think i may take your advice (when i feel brave enough) and go to a make up counter - should i do Boots (if they even do them) or really posh it up and go to John Lewis

I am also really looking forward to Manchester I dont usually drink, so tend to get drunk very very easily (a very happy drunk) so not too sure if i want to inflict a drunk me on you all

Morning peeps

MitsubishiWarrioress · 30/01/2010 09:29

for Bella with love xx

bellavita · 30/01/2010 09:30

Alice, so I could be your mum too

Right, I am going now.

bellavita · 30/01/2010 09:31

Thank you Mitts, you truly are a darling.

NormaSknockers · 30/01/2010 09:32

I'm older then you Alice, I'll be 27 in July!

Bella - fret not you'll shift it. You know WW like the back of your hand, it's just a blip & the impending arrival of AF doesn't help. Don't cry

MitsubishiWarrioress · 30/01/2010 09:35

Can I ask some of you a question on FB that I really don't want to ask on MN? Honest answers would be appreciated but I really do need some advice on it?

NormaSknockers · 30/01/2010 09:37

Go for it Mitts, will log into FB....

NormaSknockers · 30/01/2010 09:48

Mitts - I got to log off for a bit but will check back later! Hope you're ok?!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 30/01/2010 10:03

Dont be disheartened about the weight gain, it is not fat you have put on, it is water retention because of AF, have you tried taking water tablets the week before your due? i swear by them, honestly i can put up to half a stone on in water if i dont take them

Just you wait Bella, next week it will all come back off again and you will feel great
