Well done wasting 1lb is 1lb, better off than on.

jaquelinehyde · 29/01/2010 22:14

See it could be so much worse

TrillianAstra · 29/01/2010 22:14

Eyeliner is great Jac - get a few in different colours and draw away, if you're wearing a blue top and blue liner it looks like you've made effort when really you've just drawn a line

bellavita · 29/01/2010 22:14

Would that not make your eyes look smaller jaq? FWIW, I would get the liquid eyeliner everywhere... With the eyeliner, I don't have a definite hard line, I smudge it a little so it looks a bit more forgiving.

DreamsInBinary · 29/01/2010 22:15

For a 40's look it has to be liquid and above the eye. You could try the felt-tip-pen types? Far easier than the brush.

DreamsInBinary · 29/01/2010 22:21

I adore Dido's make-up in the Thank You video, and think the pink cheeks and lips would suit you, Jac.

I thought navy eyeliner was good for brown eyes though?

Seen the shart thread, Shiney?

Not subtle enough for you- who is it?

DreamsInBinary · 29/01/2010 22:37

Blue eyeliner + dark hair + dark eyes looks stunning. Need to be more careful if you are blue-eyed or blonde.

bellavita · 29/01/2010 22:37

So, I am having my nails done too when I go to the hairdressers tomorrow. I am currently sporting some nail varnish. What is the etiquette on this? Take it off before I go or let them do it?

DreamsInBinary · 29/01/2010 22:41

I'd say take it off Bella, otherwise they may use some super-strong nail likking stuff.

BoF, just read about your day.

DreamsInBinary · 29/01/2010 22:41

likking? Killing, obv.

The "I am a twat" thread?

DreamsInBinary · 29/01/2010 22:49

That's the one. Am picturing more Carry On than Benny Hill

jaquelinehyde · 29/01/2010 22:57

Oooh thank you for all the make up advice.

I'm a little scared about this eyeliner thing but will give it a go. I really, really can't do the liquid stuff I get it everywhere even the pen types

So chunky pencils, and smudge them...God this is going to be a disaster I can just feel it. I'm going to look like a crack addict who has just been woken in an early morning raid!!

bellavita · 29/01/2010 23:00

Shiney,I think this may be for you?

DreamsInBinary · 29/01/2010 23:04

Good spot, Bella.

How odd. And delayed.

BitOfFun · 29/01/2010 23:04

It wasn't today, thank god...I just added my tale of twattery to the thread when I noticed it had been bumped. I doubt I'd fit that nightie at the moment- God only knows what scummy get-up I would have answered the door in these days!

I thought it was today too BofF. Good job it wasn't has it has been far too cold to be outside in next to nothing.

It is odd isn't it DIB. I was just having a trawl through (not really something I would do normally).
