have to agree sofia and also (although this will probably get me shot down in flames) wonder why a number of my friends seem to have (literally) traded the bread-winning v. nurturing - and then wonder why the dhs don't do anything around the house or with the kids. ok not everyone, but seems to be the norm among the City working people we know...

One of the things I find most amusing is new mums who completely dominate the home and childcare when the baby's born (along the lines of the "It's MINE!" post earlier) and then 5 years down the line complain that their partners' aren't doing enough It does make me chuckle.
