I discovered a lump on my breast while showering this week,it isn't painful but I have seen my GP and have been booked in for mammogram and biopsy. I am so frightened. I can't help thinking the worst and am struggling to keep calm. Has anyone else been there that can talk me down? Is it ever ok?

Very, very good news. I'm so pleased!

I have my annual mammogram next Tuesday and to say I'm not looking forward to it is a massive understatement!

Bratley, I don't know if I saw you but didn't hear any talk of flaming or fruit shoots, so am thinking maybe not.

Crikey! I'm away from this thread for a few days and we get a looney in!

MagicDoc, your post was dangerous, and I really am shocked that MNHQ have let it stand after people have reported it.
I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but you have absolutely no evidence to support your 'claim', as Lulumama said, if herbs could cure cancer surely they would be used instead of putting people through the long medical route for cancer treatment?
Please think before posting in future.

MOEP, I'm so pleased for you, been thinking about you today.
I wasn't in work today, the last thing ladies need is me spreading my germs around! I feel rotten!

I know the chances are probably very slim but, I'm intrigued as to whether you were at my workplace now!

Really pleased everything went well for you though

mummyofexcitedprincesses · 05/12/2009 11:15

No way of knowing without giving clues to our identities Bratley. Don't feel like you have to confirm either way, but to satisfy your curiousity, I was in Taunton, and they treated me very well.

BratleyGaveInToBaubles · 07/12/2009 16:39

Oh you wouldnt have seen me anyway in that case!

Would have been a great coincidence though wouldn't it!?

How you feeling now?
Bet you feel a huge weight has been lifted?

mummyofexcitedprincesses · 07/12/2009 18:42

I didn't realise just how worried I was until it was over, it was such a huge relief.

I often wonder if people are Mumsnetters in RL lol.

BratleyGaveInToBaubles · 07/12/2009 22:37

I do that too!

There should be a secret salutation, like for mini drivers, and truckers! lol

At work sometimes, you see women almost crawl in through the door cos they're so nervous then they just about float on their way back out of the door with the huge weight thats been lifted!

Glad your princesses are excited now! Evil princesses sound like hard work!

mummyofexcitedprincesses · 08/12/2009 18:47

We should have a secret handshake!
