look bad, still bleeding, pics on profile (but only look if you are not overly squeamish cos they doo look nasty IMVHO).

is this normal looking is what I am asking, as DH is going green when I ask, and I am a big wuss who thinks my leg is gonna drop off at any given moment!

Thanks Physcho.

My boobs are the same size they were when I had DS1 6 years ago (36DD) but during/after I had each DC they went right up to a G cup. After Ds1 was born, DH was amazed at the size of them, said "Can we leave DS1 in hospital, but keep the twins" They were very porn staresque.

psychomum5 · 07/06/2009 23:09

oh yes, mine were huge after each baby

in fact, was convinced I would impale people had they bumped into me!

I am paranoid about my DC.....I got so badly sunburned I came out in huuuuuge blisters over my shoulders. five of them, each about an inch across.

I used to prostrate myself to the sun god in the summer hols as a teenager and used to use some god awful cooking factor 2 oil on my skin

I now never leave the house without factor 50 on my face and decolletage. I have horrible age spots already and am only 40

LackaDAISYcal · 07/06/2009 23:12

oops that didn't make sense (damn wine)
That should have read "paraqnoid about my DC.....lather them up in factor 50 even when it isn't particularly sunny"

wine-ometer says it's bedtime!

I hope it;s feeling better and less sore tomorrow psycho.

psychomum5 · 07/06/2009 23:12

I burnt badly on my chest and decolletage as a teen, and it is still noticable as I always look as tho I have sunburn when I wear strappy tops, even in the winter.

Hello

I'm here, I can chat. It's that or do housework or job applications.

IDidntRaiseAThief · 08/06/2009 11:02

looks bloody painful.

I guess it's drawing pain iyswim, the tissues are all knitting together. As others say as long is its not hot, smelly or puss like.

nice.

try and rest up more if poss, you surely shouldn't be driving etc?

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 11:05

no, I know I shouldn;t be driving, but at lack of other ways to get the urchins to school...........it is not a long drive at least, and I give lots of time to get there going slowly (still in the traffic-speed, but not rushing IYGWIM).

am feeling sick with it today tho, but I think it is delayed shock and tearfulness.

Psycho - arnica can help with bruising which might help with the inflamation too - and I have been told that you can get some to eat so its in your system as rather than just in cream form which you obviously wouldn't want to try.

IDidntRaiseAThief · 08/06/2009 11:15

oh gosh, i think it must be. poor you

what amounts of painkillers are you taking, are you taking as much as poss/is allowed.

TheDevilWearsPenneys · 08/06/2009 11:16

Bloody hell psycho, I'd say you were due a little bit of good luck, you've really been through it!

Rest and rest somemore

and have a manly hug from me.

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 11:18

aww.....thanks for the hugs and sympathy

arnica......I have some of that in herbal tebs form.....I should have thought of them (they are in the childrens medicine chest......typical for me, ignore myself)....will go hunt them down. thanks for the reminder

OP posts:
psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 11:19

oh, painkillers.......am on ibruphen and co-codomol, altho the throb isnt really helped I have to admit.

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 08/06/2009 11:42

Mmm, co-codamol. Codeine makes me go a bit lala. Just like being a very calm relaxed type of drunk.

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 11:48

oh yes, tis very calming

probably why that troll couldnt get a rise out of last week actually, tinking about it

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 08/06/2009 12:01

I need kicking - I have a job to apply to and can't be bothered to do the bloody application. Because they never work anyway. Stupid people.

IDidntRaiseAThief · 08/06/2009 12:05

codeine makes me go a bit odd too.

took it once, never again!

i guess the ibuprophen is the best for swelling. i'd prob take 3 X 200mg now and again, instead of the 2. but shoot me/ignore me if this is bad advice. I just remember doing this with all the stitches i had after having dd.

TrillianAstra · 08/06/2009 12:08

No that's fine advice IDRAT - you can buy (over the counter I think) 600mg ibuprofen tablets, so 3 normal tablets is an okay dose that won't hurt you.

IDidntRaiseAThief · 08/06/2009 12:11

oh good!

i knew you could get 400mg tablets, of which you are advised to take one. It just seems that surely you must be able to take a little more for something so painful.

ilovesprouts · 08/06/2009 12:12

looked at your pics looks very sore hope u feeling better today by the way iloved the pics of your kids very nice children

psychomum5 · 08/06/2009 12:20

thanks for that, might in fact help more

thankyou for the complements on the children.....I like comments like that

you know, I have never had a cut like this on any part of my body before........have scars, but all teeny ones that have had one or two stitches at most (well, bar the stitches after childbirth, and those I couldn;t see bar breaking myself in half).
