Work say 'don't come in if you have flulike symptoms'

DP's work have guidelines in place saying you shouldn't come in if you have "flu-like symptoms".

He has a cold. It's not even manflu, let along actual influenza. Unless he feels significantly worse tomorrow he's going to go in.

Does anyone want to place bets on whether he will be sent home tomorrow after the first sneeze?

oh its alright I dont care! I am not a poster usually expecting to be recognised though I have been here 3 years, anyway I have had 3 names as well.

It was his wee full of blood though the poo looked pretty normal swimming in it.

Call NHS direct - it does actually sounds quite worrying if his wee really is full of blood. (although they will probably tell you to go to the GP) I'm actually hoping he's having a crazy reaction to the beetroot.

it was full of blood. unless it is indeed a crazy nearly 24 hrs later beetroot thing???

I called nhs direct (see new thread! ) and she said to either take him now or wait til next wee because it was doubtful it was the beetroot.
