I saw a poor guy in MacDonalds once with a blue plaster on the face. I commented to him, did he have a piercing, and he said no, it was a spot and they'd made him cover it him. Poor love.

sparklymieow · 27/04/2005 14:12

I had one on my lip recently, and Misdee said to as we were in the car, 'ooooooo that looks really sore Mieow' me thinking she was talking about my lip piercing, said 'no, its healing... look!!' she then said ' no that huge zit on your lip' it took about a week to heal, and it was HUGE!!

Heathcliffscathy · 27/04/2005 14:13

kiddies plaster... oh dear. Honestly you should try and see if the chemist can mix up that tincture for you.. healing is VERY fast

will sting when put on though..

Heathcliffscathy · 27/04/2005 14:33

paps, a chemist over here would laugh me out of the shop...but i'll try a neals yard or somewhere for it...sounds good.

marthamoo · 27/04/2005 16:02

I had a huge zit on my face when I was a student and I couldn't stop picking at it so I stuck a plaster on it. One of my housemates then wrote "ZIT" on the plaster with a marker pen. I then forgot all about it and, when the doorbell went, happily showed a group of students, who were interested in renting our house the following year, around. Thought the gorgeous bloke must fancy me the way he kept smiling at me. I didn't realise 'til they'd left. Still cringe about it now

motherinferior · 27/04/2005 16:23

MM, was that the housemate you MARRIED?

(and yes I know I'm supposed to be working)

marthamoo · 27/04/2005 16:24

Sorry to take such enjoyment out of someone else's misfortune but this has really cheered me up. I am suffering from an infected scabby blistered lip so don't feel quite so alone with my ailment having read this.
