I am slow on the uptake but I have just sat down and worked this out and now feel, well, almost tearful tbh.

I know its only guidelines and there must be some leeway but it has never truly hit home to me just how little alcohol is, apparently, too much .

I have started looking much harder for wines at 12.5% or less but they are scarce - often the special offers are 14%+ & that is a big difference (& with red, some of the less alcoholic ones are really thin & acidic )

prosecco is lovely if you like sparkling and is normally about 10.5% or 11%.

Must say i'd started drinking less red and more white before this pregnancy as not so strong.

Pinot Grgio and Cote du Rhone tend to be lower as is Cava!
Could turn every drink into a celebration!!

I'm hoping manufacturers will respond by making more lower alcohol ones.
