The suggested goals are:

EAT 3 PORTIONS OF CAKE EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much cake I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 3 MINUTES OF COMPLAINING EVERY DAY - can be whinging, moaning, or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 3 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There was no cake here when we arrived back from school - I made some emergency sugar popcorn but it wasnt the same. At all.

bronze · 26/03/2009 16:41

I have gloopy sticky rich carrot cake. there is no way the carrots have made it too healthy

Peeingmyselflaughing · 26/03/2009 16:50

Why only 3/3? Surely we can aim higher than that !

Although for cake, can I substitute a pack of peanut cookies, a tub of Ben & Jerrys and two slightly stale doughnuts?

Complaints

having to keep boisterous DS at home because of school's 48 hour rule
raining too much and I have piles of washing to do
blocked sinuses

Juwesm · 26/03/2009 17:07

Cake (so far)
Half a tube of Jaffa Cakes
Slice of breakfasty fruit loaf cake

Complaints
I am BORED.
I have not got a third portion of cake.
DH is playing poker tomorrow and I will be a woman alone all day long.

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/03/2009 17:09

banana bread (no sugar, no fat, no eggs but cakey nonetheless)
Rice pudding
cheese (does that count)

I have complained a bit but not for 3 mins. Will do some more soon.

SuperBunny · 26/03/2009 19:49

And what's with the swearing?

Franny, you don't belong here. Come home...

FrayedKnot · 26/03/2009 20:23

Peeingmyselflaughing · 27/03/2009 08:38

Silly question PMDW!!!!

I have no cake though... fudgebuckets!

mollyroger · 27/03/2009 11:46

see, what happens when you fall under the 10/10 thread spell is that I now have a delivery full of nuts, seeds, pulses, vegetables and fruit. And no frigging cake. Nor any ingredients to make any. And it is raining. And I am still full of cold.

Peeingmyselflaughing · 27/03/2009 13:41

Fruit & nut flapjacks? Or are they too healthy... or just glue the fruit/nuts/seeds together with a load of golden syrup or honey maybe...

pollywobbledoodle · 27/03/2009 13:51

confession to make, i have only had 2 pieces of cake and have 4 complaints.......can we have moan and scoff days on this plan as long as they balance out over the week?

ps does the nut, seed and lard cake for the birds count as cake if desperate?

pps my complaints
this plan is too hard to understand
i don't like cake
dd has left an exploded homemede rocket all oer the living room
dh has been tiling the bathroom since before xmas and its still not finished

This baby is break dancing. His head may be engaged but hes spinning on it and my pelvis is getting the grief

Lawks · 27/03/2009 18:23

If I complain about cake does one cancel the other out?

It was rather a dry cake and the icing was too sweet.

FrannyandZooey · 27/03/2009 18:47

the 10 / 10ers say i am not allowed on here any more
i was just passing so i am sticking my head in to tell you that

OP posts:
purplemonkeydishwasher · 27/03/2009 19:28

franny - are they the BOSS of you? is it some kind of cult? surely you can eat lots of fruit and veg and still eat cake. balanced diet and all that

FrannyandZooey · 27/03/2009 19:33

yes they are and it is
don't tell them i told you or they will have to kill me
we are all sworn to eat only fruit and veg as long as we live
even nuts are frowned upon

OP posts:
pointydog · 27/03/2009 19:37
