I think I have poisoned myself and possibly my daughter and sister

I used the rest of our left overturkey which I can remember as being on date for at least a few days after Christmas.

I made a supreme style dish with cream , white wine and onions. Ate it about an hour ago, sister and dd had their earlier and I now feel really sick.

DD and sister are out at the moment and I cant get hold of them.

It might be the turkey sandwich you had at lunch. If so (1) expect another "exorcist moment" towards dawn, and (2) put a bucket next to DD's bed.

LOL FA, I was miles away before you tried to link arms with me! Just communicating now through a megaphone.

TWINSETinapeartree · 29/12/2008 19:30

Yes mp why are you shoting at me.

Oh God just remembered that I was woken up by my cat having diorrhea at 5 this morning ( my house is a place of serene cleanliess at the monent) and she had turkey for tea. But the other cat and dog did and they have been fine.

Good God, woman, just how much turkey did you cook?

TWINSETinapeartree · 29/12/2008 19:33

It wasn't a huge turkey but there was only 3 of us for Christmas day dinner. We did our big meal on Saturday or was it sunday? when we had beef

The key question is, are you feeling better now? Because if so, it could well have been the turkey sandwich. If it is a bug, you should still be feeling crap, shouldn't you?

TWINSETinapeartree · 29/12/2008 19:37

I am still feeling crap but I am spectacularly crap at any kind of sickness. Morning sickness left me bedridden.

Sounds like it was just a bit rich for you rather than food poisoning - I had it once after chicken supreme in Ibiza and the pains it my stomach were unbelievable - I was only 11

baublerock · 29/12/2008 19:43

Also, I probably wouldn't mention it to Sis and DD - I don't know about you, but even the thought that I may have eaten something dodgy or caught a bug makes me feel sick!

Oovavu · 29/12/2008 19:55

uh-oh think I am suffering the same fate. That last mince pie with twice its weight of brandy butter layered on top, followed by 2 glasses of wine at 4 o'clock and then 5 celebration chocolates must have been poisoned.................

delightedoldbag34 · 29/12/2008 20:04

FWIW I'd be blaming the creaminess of the meal you made rather than the turkey. If it smelt fine and was within date and you re-heated prpoerly then I wouldn't be worried about it. I'd suspect too much cream / heaviness as the reason for feeling so sick. Hope you feel better soon

TWINSETinapeartree · 29/12/2008 20:20

My sister is home and is feeling fine, she thinks I have just over indulged as I have to be normally so careful over what I eat and yet have lost it in the last few days. DD is 100% fine, still dancing around the room.

I want to make it clear though I AM ILL AND NEED SYMPATHY!
