Sorry, not much lubricant down below, TMI!

Hi. Sorry, I dont know where to post but abit concerned and worried.

Since having DD2 who is now 2 during sex I dont seem to be as moist as what I used to be! I know this is normal after having kids but I have never really said anything to DH about it and dont know how to aproach the situation. I tend to need abit of 'extra stimulation' down there but sometimes im so dry I cant do it. I do have some oil I could use but dont want to stop halfway through and say hold on let me just put some of this on!!!

How can i do it discretely and tell DH about it?

Did you know that you can get free lube from the family planning clinic. Tell dh that this sometimes happens after birth.

vaginal dryness is often caused by an oestrogen imbalance and is common in menopausal women because of this.
it can also be common in women after childbirth as sometimes the rebalancing of the hormones after birth do not always go back to what they were before.
I had many women come to me about this, it actually embarrassed me the first few times but I got used to it after a while for the older lady, it was usually a matter of using specific products or natural remedies depending on the root cause, in younger ladies, I often asked for the partner to come along (some did some didn't possibly because of embarrassment?) as this can be traumatic for the woman and confusing for the man. if a lubricant is the answer, then it is often best acheived by involving the man in its application so as not to ruin the mood as it can be part of the foreplay. natural lubricants are best as continued use of things like KY can cause irritation and can in some cases cause even more dryness as it alters the vaginal chemistry.
mineral oils are to be avoided like the plague too as these can seriously interfere with chemistry if used regularly and can certainly alter the inner walls of your vagina as these mineral oils (baby oil is an example) sit on the surface and are not absorbed, they are pushed further in and can accumulate and start to ''gunk'' up certain areas. (one lady did successfully use olive oil but hers was not a hormone problem)

hate to sound 15 - but natural remedies? Can you expand?

depends on the root cause, if it is a hormone imbalance treatment is one set of herbs which would in turn return the vaginas natural lubrication, if it is a vaginal wall problem that would be something different to use and if it is something else then I could not treat it.
apart from that I am mostly loathe to list the remedies as self medding is not reccommended without advice.
