not good news about dh.

the tests arent comepleted yet for transplant assessment but its looking very liekly he will be put on the list. however his kidneys are causing concern. he is out putting more fluid than he is taking in. is now on restricted fluid intake. if his kidney function doesnt get sorted out then he may have to stay in harefield till a heart becomes available. but as dh is tall and low body weight the doc has said it may cause problems in finding a suitable heart for him. but his heart needs to be repalced as its causing the problems for his kidney and liver. far too much to take in, and i;m not sure i'm explaing it properly.

40days in hospital since dec 14th.

havent had a call from hospital so will not be going in tomorrow. willbe monday.

no. it'll be at the hospital; he was at till this week. he is at harefield atm, and they dont have maternity facilities there. is a good 45-60mins drive away as well. mieow is my borth partner. they are trying to get him out for monday if everything goes ok with tests, maybe they'll transfer him back.

Sorry to read this thread Misdee. I saw a programme with man who had a mechanical heart (last year?) on battery and it made a huge difference to his quality of life.
Thinking of you and hoping he gets some imrovement soon. Are you being induced on Moday? If so, best wishes for a good birth. Mears x
