For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

can we do a Sunday again? I know it made trains hard for some people, but the difference in hotel room prices is huge
we probably can't afford in Oct otherwise

I can't do beginning of Nov (or middle)
I can't do a Saturday and stay over - hotels 3 times as expensive
but if you are all meeting on the Sat I could just come on the Sun, I suppose? [mournful]

TooT!!!!!!! hello

'Fraid not avi, flights booked

LOL at kinder folken. I would, if I managed it, have my kinder folken with me but no dh.

I have been drinking rosé and talking for the last 2 hours with SIL's wonderful mother.

TooTicky · 06/08/2008 23:12

Bero!!!!!!

berolina · 06/08/2008 23:13

How was it? Did you have a nice and non-exasperating time?
I am going to tipsily email you now.

TooTicky · 06/08/2008 23:16

Oh, it was good, very good. Lots of sea and sand and things and not too much rain.
Tipsily is an odd word. I had to read it three times before I realised what it was.
And I am not tipsy, despite having had a small portion of lemon and pear cider.

IdrisTheDragon · 06/08/2008 23:18

Hello TooT
Glad you had a good time

berolina · 06/08/2008 23:20

Oh I'm glad it was good. Sea and sand are lovely things.

I have had 3 tiny glasses of nice wine. It is so nice to sit and chat into the night - though it is never actually 'chat' with SIL's mother (i.e. BIL's MIL - I don't know whether BIL's wife is technically SIL but it's what I refer to her as) - we always end up talking about Very Profound and Personal Subjects. She is the most amazing woman - sort of an adopted aunt really.

TooTicky · 06/08/2008 23:21

Ooh hello Idris
How is the dragon family?
