Fruity is in the pie of the beholder - 10 / 10 thread

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I went on a school trip to La Rochelle. We were all terrified of the automatic loos on the streets and went in in pairs

Good luck woth your O word.

SuperBunny · 07/08/2008 02:55

Haven't read whole thread, just since about lunchtime today.

FMF, what fab children you have

Who's MollyRoger?

Car got broken into at the weekend Ex being a pain about DS & I co-sleeping and refuses to let him see me the weekend of his 3rd birthday, meaning he cannot have a party (unless ex is allowed to come which will ruin the whole thing and be completely inappropriate and horrible for all)

Had a lovely day. Other than the sniffing which is slowly driving me bonkers.

F&V: Moderate

SuperBunny · 07/08/2008 03:02

Zippi, sorry for job woes and feeling tearful. Hope appointment will lead to something constructive and helpful. You can email if you like, you know where I am.

Hope everyone else is ok.

My aunt has just been told that she doesn't really have a cold or pnuemonia that she has been treated for for the past few months but has had 2 heart attacks and it looks like she has some sort of mass on her heart Doesn't sound good. I am not allowed to leave the country so can't visit or help

FrannyandZooey · 07/08/2008 08:19

SuperB I am sorry about the car, and your aunt. How worrying
Molly is FMF in pirate guise
can you do the party a different weekend? I know it isn't what you'd choose.

I have been pestering avi about the meet and she suggested if I should organise it? would that be ok or did someone else want a turn at being a bossy old cow organising things?

huge fruity breakfast
can't actually eat it all
a disappointing mango amongst others
not cunting but perhaps slightly labial

I can't work out how to get to the doctor to have my checked with a torch so am cancelling until tomorrow when dp is around
this seems crap
I feel incompetent
but seriously how would I do it? I don't really want ds1 there while someone peering up jacksy but would not be end of world, however what would I do with ds2 while she was examining me? I am being stupid aren't I? Can't work it out though.

superbunny, am I being vry dense - who are you?

MR was me, in disguise for another thread. Amd crap at remembering to take off the eyepatch when I have finished though

I have actually been asked to bring Molly Rodger and her pirate family for a photo shoot next week to publicise a pirate play but ironically, can't make it as we will be embarking on a week's pirateing on our boat

FrannyandZooey · 07/08/2008 09:28

Superb is UR
you see I need to be in charge
I am the only person who knows what is going on

I thought you wrote 'I feel incontinent' Fran! Both bad sensations. Incontinent probably a leeetle worse though.

Ikeal furniture isn't bad in itself PSW, I had just finished a mammoth 3 hour table assembling mission involving DH tutting and sweating at me and looking enraged when I 'rounded off' the heads from excessive screwdriver twizzling. Hence the post.

It worked out fine, I am good at these things. However, tiny amount of dinner, one glass of wine, angry husband and tricksy furniture is not a match made in heaven.

A very nice colleague has bought in some suitable wedding attire for me to try on. Sausage situation may yet be averted. Will maybe post pics later for a vote.

IdrisTheDragon · 07/08/2008 10:19

I know who most name changers on here are.

But who is Fabio?

FrannyandZooey · 07/08/2008 12:17

I am sworn to annoying smug incontinent secrecy about Fabio

FrannyandZooey · 07/08/2008 12:39

But am sure that when we ra eaway everyhting else will bloom and we'll miss it

Especially the tomatoes.

FrannyandZooey · 07/08/2008 16:59

heuristic = learning through one's own discovery
from same root as "eureka"

I have been at messy play
it certainly was messy
ds2 is upstairs lying very quietly on his changing mat
I forgot he was there actually
I am going to leave him there until he complains
oh he has

Good holiday thanks. Got back to find dp had done wondrous things in the front room, lots of changing and rearranging. There was a certain amount of stagnation in thew kitchen though, including a rather scary collection of furry and oozing things on the side.

Sorry Franny. What I meant was, are you okay?

FrannyandZooey · 07/08/2008 18:31

TooT if I go into details we'll get in bother
