For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

you wouldn't fall over, they are very low. I have to dance in them, there is a slasa class

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 11:18

anyway have baby strapped to front
no-one is going to see either cleavage or belly
only a couple of cute fat legs sticking out (ds's, not mine)

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 11:20

oh I would fall in low ones I bet
I could just sit in them though
actually may put nice shiny turquoise ballet flats on though

berolina · 02/08/2008 11:27

have a nice time.
Am LOLing at mental image of you with cute fat legs.

[disclaimer] I am a serial mover of houses though. We've been here three years, and the other day I found myself looking at farmhouses in Devon. So actually, don't listen to me. I am appalling.

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 12:26

Not to mention by moving to USA plans, which were nipped in the bud by resident tennis pro.

berolina · 02/08/2008 12:35

oh 100, I like it too, despite the patio. But the viewing was at 12 I should not listen to dh in these matters I might email and see if hey found anyone today. Our current flat is in much the same style, so we have the windows already, which is nice. We are serial movers too - this is our third flat in 8 years of marriage - but through necessity. Looking at farmhouses in Devon strikes me as not appalling, but rather entirely understandable.

Your response was very appropriate btw

filthymindedvixen · 02/08/2008 13:21

ah bero, got here too late to admire you zimmers and things. looked lovely!

I am feeling very odd. We have depostited boys at their auntie's for a week. And the forecast is grim for them. Northumbria. And she has a zillion cats and no experience of children at all. She will shriek at them and feed them crap. And cuddle them lots

Ho hum. And dh and i have planned nothing. And it feels really strange - I literally don't know what to do with myself!

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 15:02

ah 100 you misunderstood me
I meant sometimes I think I love him more than I love YOU

rather a lot of cheese
I mean really quite a lot
and some eton mess
and chips
and white bread
and a few carrots

I shall have a stern word with myself later

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 15:36

lololololol

That's v. funny. I did misunderstand you. lol. I am laughing a lot today, am in a good mood. Also v. perceptive of you, he is a much nicer person than me I think. Also better looking.

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 15:50

p.s. I was lying I did mean the other

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 16:27

On the downside is VERY moody. Honestly, unbelievably moody and that hang-dog face and endless talking about work might get to you I think.

I am not moody. You know where you are with me. If I was you I'd ignore the cuttingness and raised eyebrows and plump for me, just for a nice even temperature about the place. [chilly temperature, but it'll keep you awake which is good]. Actually I'm quite warm in RL.

Actually I need to shut up now.

berolina · 02/08/2008 16:31

Oh FMV - Iknow how strange it must feel but I am doing my best not to exclaim 'you lucky thing'. Relax, rest, enjoy the uninterruptedness

The loss of the flat (it does look lovely, doesn't it ) has made me look around and determine to use our 'space' better. We are clearing and rearranging and shifting.

Blueberry and banana cake. Dinner will be pumpkin 'chips' and various leftovers.

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 16:32

oh god talking about work no that would never do

i just want him to wander past looking amusingly hang dog from time to time

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 16:35

Well he does that. Then he does sighing - like a dog - then he does hair ruffling (his NOT MINE, but you might let him do yours? No idea, I wouldn't consider it for a minute) then more sighing.

Then putting on of kettle.

Then wandering.

Then hang-dog out the window.

Then blowing out of cheeks.

Then [prepare yourself]

'The thing is XXX is saying he doesn't know the characters, but I don't know what he means. And if they say that at the meeting, I will tell them to fuck off. i will. I need a new chair. I hate my chair. Is there any food? is the cricket on? ' for about three hours.

Then sighing.

If you think you're woman enough, then you're v. welcome. I just close the doors to my cupboard and make noises from time to time.

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 16:39

lordy no
that is my end of things - sighing and puffing and wittering on

dp's role is to (when not listening attentively to me puffing) play on his ds lite and occasionally make small talk about bikes, which I ignore

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 16:41

sling update (I did start a thread but it is not exactly jumping on there)
have got hang of bfing in wrap now but you have to lob your whole breast out don't you? or don't you? I don't care for everyday, but I wanted to use for sports job, and it Will Not Do to have breast out

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 16:42

I reckon if you lived together you'd blow the house down in about a week with all the sighing and puffing probably.

Mind you, you do get the laugh a day. Which is v. good, as he is funny when not puffing.

Perhaps we could just arrange a sort of walk-by woebegone thing outside your house?

Mind you, now with the tennis and all that? He might start sprinting about in small white shorts. [hopeful]

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 16:44

well i do find my own dp very droll actually
but if yours wants to stroll or trot by in shorts, looking hang dog OR being funny, I wouldn't mind
as a kind of bonus, you know

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 16:44

Hope you're not asking me. I never slinged or slung or whatever.

Did you get answers to other questions? I could ask SIL anything. She is sling expert. She is v. creative and clever and made one built into a coat. Do you want me to ask her your questions?

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 16:45

I have got answers to most questions but this is a new one
if she has one made into a coat it probably doesn't show her breasts does it?

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 16:51

No, but it was for him at 3 or so - not baby. But do tell me if you want me to, she's marvellous at it and has thousands.

oooh I meant to tell you too, that after my lessons in how to be a Nice Person and I did supportive 'it's wonderful you're still bf' and she cried and everything - remember? Well recently I did long chat about HE and I nodded and said 'yes, it'd be wonderful wouldn't it? There are lots of groups you can join and things'.

You would have been SO PROUD.

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2008 16:54

I am proud now
I am very proud

I keep wondering about those Mozart fuckers parents though

ahundredtimes · 02/08/2008 16:58

Well [chatty] I think it must be better now because MIL was here (is dh's brother and SIL) and she said

'well she hasn't had any sleep for months, but it's all their fault because the indulge the baby so much' and she did tooth-sucking.

Having bf three babies in this woman's presence I am now well used to this kind of chat, so I said brightly 'in what way indulge?'

and she said

'Well they go to him when he wakes, and she carries him about all the time, and won't put him down or anything. And she's STILL breastfeeding' and then she looked a bit guilty and said 'which is up to her' rather crossly.

So. All much improved I reckon. I reckon GF off the table now?

Will report back after the Holiday Which I Am Not Thinking About.
