For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

LOL! I'm a re-usable free zone too MrsC. I'm rubbish at managing my washing piles at the best of times. And we have dogs, dangerous things dirty nappies with dogs around. Sorry to be gross.

pinkspottywellies · 21/07/2008 17:24

I told you it's not about green it's about money!! No to be fair it's a bit of both

I figured I would have so much new stuff to panic about learn that an extra couple of loads of washing a week couldn't make it that much worse!! We spent all the money when we had it (ie while I was still working) although I paid less than £100 for all my nappies, and the washing was just part of the routine of having a baby

My spare room is the washing pile Although it's not too bad. I'm Doing The Ironing tonight.

DH told me he would have to wear the shirt with the worn out collar today cause that was the only one clean. I have now found 3 ironed in his wardrobe and 3 more in the clean pile. He just wasn't looking.

at Joanna Newsome and Blondie. It sounds absolutely lovely. It was cold last night wasn't it. There's nothing worse than being cold in a tent. You need a van.

Tatties · 21/07/2008 17:30

Oh poor Franny and the Zooeys :-( It's not fair is it? Thanks Guad for updating us

OsmosisBanana · 21/07/2008 17:32

OMG do not get me started on men and their inability to look for things.

I wouldn'tmid if DH actually looked, but he just asks 'Babe, where's xxx I can't find it'. It makes me irrationally angry.

IdrisTheDragon · 21/07/2008 17:35

I agree about men who DON'T EVEN BOTHER LOOKING
(capitals fully intended there).

filthymindedvixen · 21/07/2008 17:37

Hi Boco, welcome home - sounds great fun (though I do know what you mean, there is no worse feeling than ''I just want to be teleported home now'' after a festival.)

pinkspottywellies · 21/07/2008 17:38

DH 'looked' for a driving licence/birth cert or something once in our boxfullofpaperworkandshite filing system. He said it absolutely wasn't in there so we looked everywhere else, then started again and I looked in the box - ie took things out one by one and put them into a pile. Lo and behold there it was. His version of looking was to lift up the stuff in about 3 sections and declare it not there!!

Hi Boco, glad you had a lovely time.

Men and women are from actual different planets, aren't we?

DD is asleep and has been since about 3. She had 2 really late nights at the weekend and I daren't wake her - from experience it is Not Worth It. I hope she just had dinner and goes back to bed when she wakes up though.

And me going ''next to fridge...no, next to. In hallway by wellies. Yes it is...have you actuallt, properly looked etc etc''

TooTicky · 21/07/2008 17:58

We are fat arses!

berolina · 21/07/2008 17:58

Oh, poor poor Franny Poor little L too, of course, but I know from experiencing similar with ds2 that he'll be alright. FWIW ds2 and I had to stay in Sunday to Wednesday, to finish the course of ABs, although he was a lot better and breathing fairly normally, so that might not mean too much, but the lumbar puncture thing is going to be worrying for F, of course hope it is just to rule out stuff. I'm glad she is finally getting bf support.

Welcome back Boco!

sigh of recognition at man looking. Last year my passport - which I am reliant on as everyday ID here - disappeared. dh had had it to copy for something and was adamant he'd given it back. I hunted high and low, no sign, was frantic about identity theft, had reported it to the police and mentally written off the however many hundreds of euros a replacement costs over here (there is one British issuing office in Germany and I'm sure they bump up the already extortionate charges) - and then the twat dear man found it in his stuff - he had had it all along. No, actually I think I found it in his stuff.

Apple juice, cucumber, apple, blueberries, tomato and basil rolls. Am about to eat rice with parmesan, tomatoes and herbs. recdurrant and yogurt fest tonight.

TooTicky · 21/07/2008 17:59

Lots of love & hugs to the Zooeys xxx

Welcome back Boco
It all sounds magical,I must think about it next year.
How is dd?

TooTicky · 21/07/2008 18:07

that was supposed to be dd1

UnderRated · 21/07/2008 18:09

Poor Zooeys Am glad L is a little better. Thank you for updating us MrsC

DS does the crap man-looking too - "I can't fiiiind it," he says so I look and, yes, it is right next to him where I said it was

Rice w/ tofu (the frozen stuff - it was good), peas, corn, black beans, lentils, banana.

UnderRated · 21/07/2008 18:12

at talk of arses on this thread. I played boggle with BF yesterday and found 'arse' then 'arsed' and 'arsey'. I had to argue my case that they are indeed real words.

UnderRated · 21/07/2008 18:12

Is there anything we can do for Franny? Well, I'm a long way away so am not much use with anything practical. I am sending lots of positive vibes but it doesn't feel like much.

IdrisTheDragon · 21/07/2008 18:14

UR which part of Herts did you grow up in

And which part were you in today TF

UnderRated · 21/07/2008 18:19

lol, Idris. I grew up not far from Hertford - small town with confusing name so everyone says, "Where do you live?" and you reply, "In X" and they say, "Yes, where?" so you say, "Yes, I live there" If you know the area, you will know where I mean.
