Painful mouth ulcer not improving, any suggestions for relief?

I have this terrible ulcer in the inside of my lip. I’ve tried bonjela, iglu and it doesn’t provide any relief I think maybe because it’s rubbing on my teeth. It is so painful I’ve just taken some codine I had left over from a back injury as paracetamol isn’t touching it. I know it sounds dramatic but I really am in a lot pain, struggling to eat and drink. Does anyone have a magic cure?

Anbesol* liquid - stings for a second then totally numbs it.

Not specific for recovery, but I get these when I'm not getting enough vitamin C or iron.

I had one exactly the same, but on the side of my tongue. It was honestly one of the most painful experiences I've had and I do have health issues anyway. When I ate I felt like I was having a heart attack due to the pain, it woke me up at night, the side of my face it was on was swollen. Never underestimate the pain of mouth ulcers.
