basically
size 8-10
30HH boobs
no more kids as have 3 supremely good specimens in situ
Good bmi etc
have shoulder neck pain constantly, dents in shoulders, fungal rashes. Plus v self conscious as on my frame (boyish) they look quite frankly, comedic.
So am falling on nhs to save me...
zero vanity involved in this tbh
am anxious and fear tears may flow as want this soooookooo badly

Hi Prufrock, just wondering how your recovery was going?

Piffle · 02/08/2008 20:49

OMG!!!!! ! !
PCT have written!!! They agree to fund low priority spend operation due to overwhelming clinical evidence!!!
Am referred to consultant for urgent consideration!!!!
Cannot believe it's going to finally happen!!!!!

Wow - great (if scary) news, Piffle.

Will await further news with interest

suwoo · 02/08/2008 21:10

Wow, Nice one piffle!! I still have my before pics for your delectation, but you'll need to give me your mob no. My email if you don't still have it is [email protected]

Piffle · 02/08/2008 21:10

Luna depends on your area. Mine do from dd upwards but there is bmi scale so low bmi with large cup =higher need in their eyes .
Gp said for my frame 5ft 6. 9st 10 30hh bmi 21/22 cup of f or over would warrant referral
I know it varies. A lot though

Wow only just seen this thread, I am really pleased for your piffle and Pru is you do not mind please can I have pics too madmadhouse at tiscali dot co dot uk

I am going to be having a double mastectomy and reconstruction later in the year. I need to lose more weight first. I have the BRACA breast cancer gene and unfortunaly an 85% chance of developing BC, so have made the decision to proceed.

I am currently a 36 HH and the surgeon will be treating it very like a mastectomy. I hopefully will not be having inplants and will have the fat and muscle removed from my tummy to make new breats.

So I will also have a tummy tuck too

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 02/08/2008 21:21

TheMadHouse - that's very brave of you.

Wow Piffle, I hope it happens soon!

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 02/08/2008 21:22

Oh, and Prufrock, I wish you well in your recovery.

Piffle · 02/08/2008 21:45

Ladies, I am not brave, no choice really. I want to goe up to see my boys have nativities and get drunk

Piffle · 04/08/2008 06:34

lol madhouse!
I guess you would always be worrying and taking preemptive action gives you freedom from that.
Still though pretty stark choice I guess?

I'm still mega over the moon
Thanks to suwoo for her pics
Amazing how many of us are quite slim bulds but with these bloody monstrously humungous norks...
not for much longer...

HI Piffle -

had appt with gp about my gazongers this morning, she has written referral letter to local breast surgeon for further discussion.

As mate of mine said "Lovely Jubbly(ies)"

We will see.

Piffle · 14/08/2008 16:41

oh good news slouchy
Let's see how long each of us has to wait!
What size are you hoping for?

OP posts:
Littlefish · 14/08/2008 17:23

Slouchy - so glad the appointment went well. .

Slouchy · 14/08/2008 18:08

Not sure Piffle. I am not as tiny as you, so something to make my norks fit the size 12 rest of me would be ideal. I'm not sure if they will do it - I meet all the criteria except for "medical evidence of muscular/skeletal problems as a result of breast size" - i havehad the problems but they have never been documented.

Hiya Littlefish? Did you get my text? Do you and dd want to come and play>

Piffle · 14/08/2008 21:36

i think you can get away with purely psychological issues you know
plus you can say things have bothered you

dents in shoulders - not documented as it is not something you would see a gp about and report!
ETC
ETC

hope it happens foryou
