Steve died at 10.30 in Jo's arms where he belonged.

I have spoken to her & she asked me to let you all know. Her dear friend Tracey is with her.

God he put up a good fight & I for one feel honored to have known him & his family.

OJ, my deepest sympathy to you and your children. I'm so sorry for your loss.

OJ - my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. You are a truly amazing woman and I am in awe of your fortitude and bravery. There is one poem that sprang to mind and these lines come from it that remind you that even when a loved one dies they never really leave us, the wonderful memories remain, just like all those wonderful memories you were able to make.

Just read through the latest posts and have been in tears at everyone's kind words and about your post about Biggles, OJ.

Today will be another difficult day but we are all here for you and will do anything we can to help.

your posts convey all the love in the world...i think we all appreciate just what a wonderful, special, caring, loving, considerate, family man he was, and will continue to be in all of your memories.

i watched the start of "love actually" last night, where there is a narrative about love, and you know what sprung into my mind???? you and steve.

oj, you don't have to try and find words to tell us how special Steve was. Your love for him has shone out through your posts, and only a truly special man would deserve your love.

Logged on again today OJ, my thoughts have been with you and the children all night.
Words cannot express my empathy and feelings for you all. It's not the same, but having lost step son and sister ( within 6 months of each other), all I can say is that each morning you will wake up and have to get on with the day, your will never stop loving him or missing him, but I promise you that in time there will be days that you will laugh again and remember him without so much pain and these gradually do get more and more and will outweigh the desperate days. There will be times when people will expect you to be getting over it in the future and when you need to talk the most. I haven't spoken on here much to you, but I will always be here for you to talk. Littlelapin has my e-mail and she is more than welcome to pass it on.
Try and remember that although you will not be able to phyiscally hold him, you carry Steve in your heart, so he will never leave you.
I have lit a candle in RL for you and the children and prayed that Steve has had a good journey to where his is going.
Remember his is just around the corner.

OJ - I'm so sorry. Of course you can't find the words to sum up how special Steve was. He was too big for mere words. We all know how special he was though. If all of us on your threads were given a thousand words to say how special you all are we wouldn't come close. Cling onto Biggles all you like. Drench him in tears, then wring him out (sorry Biggles) and drench him again.
You all fought a spectacular fight. Your time was too too short, but filled with enough love for a million years.
I'm sending you warm thoughts.
