My 91 yo nana is in hospital

She has pneumonia & they are going to give her A/B's and fluids - they have put in a drip & a cathater - poor old thing

But she probably won't last much longer

She has Altzheimer's (sp?), weights less than 4 stone, hasn't eaten a meal in about 3 months, she has practically lost her swallow reflex

How much longer can this go on?

I'm glad you've found a compromise that everyone is happy with.

With the piano, can you ring the local piano tuner and see if he knows of anyone who is looking for a piano ? DD's piano teacher advised us to speak to our one when we were looking for a piano so I guess it might work in reverse. Or can you put it on Freecycle ?

Sorry you are so stressed. Can you try to spend a bit of time chilling out in the bath or something this evening ?

I'm glad you have come up with a compromise that everybody is happy with, sadly I do not have room for a piano but chocolateteapot's idea seems a good one.

Hopefully you can find a little time for yourself so you can relax and destress. Thinking of you and your family.
