Does anyone here have the condition lichen sclerosus, and had it for a long time?

I was diagnosed about 6 years ago, in my late 20s, but suspect I've had it for longer. Have only recently been treating it properly, and thoughts of progression to skin cancer have been troubling me a lot.

Has anyone had the condition for a long time, and remained cancer/pre-cancer free? Just looking for advice/support/experiences.

Yes me. I’ve had it for at least 15 years but was only diagnosed 5 years ago. I’m on the Clob cream that I use everyday for 3 weeks before having a week off. Theres a very good UK based LS Facebook group that you can join.

Me
diagnosed 9 years ago and to be honest I don't really have much trouble with it , I've definitely had periods of being in remission and no symptoms.

google scared the hell out of me when I was first diagnosed .

im 40 now so maybe I'll suffer more when I enter the perimenopause
