Watched Embarasing Bodies last night. Who has DANGLY FANJO LIPS?

After watching that I now think i have a wierd vulva.
The lady that had the extra skin on her inner lips. The doctor said that they were not normal. Not in so many words but she said that they could be treated by a cosmetic surgeon.
And when the lady stood up and you could see that they protruded down from her outer lips. The doctor said that you wouldn't be able to see them normally.
Well my innner lips come down lower than the outer ones. I'm sure some other peoples must do too.
I have always been slightly worried/embarrased by them but I read in a problem page once, years ago, that this is normal. Some inner lips show, or hang down(that sounds yuk, they're not by my knees) whatever, others dont.

So do your inner fanjo lips hand down??

so i dont think when you have routine exams like smears tey ever coment..like they may think how does she ope but if you say nothinmg they say nothing where are the nurses from gp prcatices on mn

avenanap · 30/04/2008 21:54

No one answered my question. Would the nurse dong your smear tell you if there was a problem with your fanjo??

ButterflyMcQueen · 30/04/2008 21:55

i have two friends who were badly messed up by childbirth and made specific requests before the birth of their dc 3

both got fabulous treatment and a proper gynae surgeon to stitch them up properly this time and both are totally pleased with results

zippitippitoes · 30/04/2008 21:57

snap avenap

well when i had my kids 20 years ago it never occurred to me that they could cause problems

avenanap · 30/04/2008 21:58

Surely they should tell you when you go for a smear if things are saggy or not how they should be??

NomDePlume · 30/04/2008 21:58

Great news on the PCOS lady

PinkTulips · 30/04/2008 21:58

i'm soo annoyed right now that the pc is at the other end of the house to the tv..... all this sounds facinating!

just asked dp if he liked my fanjo even though it's got sticky out bits and he just looked confused and said 'can't say i've overly noticed but yes, i love your pussy'

(how in the name of god do you brits pronounce tulip btw?! Confused i say chew-lups, do ye say two-lips?)

expatinscotland · 30/04/2008 21:59

they didn't tell me.

i asked the GYN when he came to examine me before my ERPC.

i mean, if he's gonna root around, may as well make it worth the while!
