get the teeth one too. always makes me feel so virtuous. I love going to the dentist just for my 6 monthly pat on the head.
and the blood pressure. Even though I do almost black out when getting out of bed

Ledodgy · 18/04/2008 10:04

I have good bp too and I do feel smug about it.

When I had glandular fever my throat nearly closed up and I had to go to hospital the dr x-rayed me and then got his students in telling them I had the biggest swollen glands he'd ever seen in his entire 30 year medical career and that he was going to use my x rays for his lectures.

lol

I'm usually told my blood pressure is good.

Can't think of anything else. I have crap eyesight and bad teeth so I can't feel superior about these.

oh yes i have lovely teeth too. sadly a bit yellow but that is the calcium they tell me.

i am good at pumping blood out when donating, always finish before they expect me to. (expect this means i have some weirdy condition and will explode)

Ledodgy · 18/04/2008 10:08

I had it when I was seventeen. I got it in the October was really ill for about 6 weeks then just had the unbelievable tiredness for around 6 months and if I ever got run down my glands would pop up again and the tiredness would start. It isn't nice and you have my sympathy getting it now. I was ok I could laze about in bed all day watching Anne and Nick.

CeilingCat · 18/04/2008 10:08

Not really health, but hairdressers are forever commenting on my impossibly thick hair (usually through gritted teeth as there arm gets cramp from drying it).

I was also told that I have an unusually large liver (not swollen/unhealthy...just laaaaarge).

My blood pressure is same as it was at 19 when first started taking the pill, so the fpc told me anyway. Which I think is a quite good when I have gone from a size 10 to a size 18.

Ledodgy · 18/04/2008 10:14

Ledodgy · 18/04/2008 10:15

went to docs post-cold with earache
looked in left ear 'oh that is very red, that looks quite inflamed' and gave me antibs
right ear 'Lovely and pale!'

I was smug at my lovely pale ear
