I have shit veins but was strangely pleased that it took 8 midwives to get blood out of me when I was pregnant with ds1.

I have perfect BMI .
I eat crap and do no exercise....(except for walking and digging but that's for fun)

I have very good skin, despite years of abuse.

I have fabulous veins, too. They (nurses, etc)always sound so grateful when they see them

I have low blood pressure which was even lower the last time it was taken. My GP said whatever I was doing I should keep on doing it. What, eating chocs, drinking wine and taking no exercise if I can possibly help it?

I do tend to get dizzy easily tho'.

On the other hand the cure for that is to remember to drink and be sure to keep my blood sugar up

oh, and my cholesterol is practically non existant on the chocolate and wine regime.

My MW told me at every bloody appointment that I have better iron levels than her despite being pg and not on iron.

She was not pg and on iron sups and couldn't get the Hb results I could.

I was proud of my pre-op partially dislocating knee-cap that made an orthopaedic med student wince and pull this expression when she felt it
(the consultant asked the student to put her hand on my knee whilst I bent and straightened it)

During (physio) in service training at work I had to walk up and down the gym many many times in my pants (with them rolled up and tucked in between my buttocks) because I had one (R) perfectly normal and robust buttock while the left one was flaccid and feeble.

My collegues all made uh-u uh-u noises as I traipsed up and down and my boss slagged off my arse for 10 mins.

Not really a triumphant story but at least one half of me was looking GREAT.

I was very happy to learn that the probable reason I couldn't express milk when bfing was my 'well-toned nipples'. Am glad one bit of me is well toned, hehehe!

My BP is always v low, last time it was measured it was 65/48. I once asked a nurse if I was, in fact, dead, with such low BP. She remarked, somewhat alarmingly, 'Well some people would be.'
