mil will not like having the carer sat in the room whilst she vists but at least she won't be able to tell Steve that he would be best going to live with her.

ggglmpp · 09/04/2008 08:33

So very pleased for you all that Steve is home OJ. Good luck with mil!

onlyjoking9329 · 09/04/2008 08:58

elliot slept well and no sickness at all, steve needed morphine a couple of times and is now asleep.
the carer was late this morning so it was a bit of a rush handing info over and getting the girls off to the school bus, we were late but the bus waited for us.

OP posts:
captainmummy · 09/04/2008 09:06

you're on a rool now OJ - even the bus is on your side! Hope it stays that way.

onlyjoking9329 · 09/04/2008 12:05

things are running smoothly we have had the district nurses out and have emergency contact numbers for them.
steve is more confused and sleeping much more these days, it is a fine balance as he is having more morphine now cos he has more pain, but that makes him more confused and zonked out.

OP posts:
Tickle · 09/04/2008 12:25

Glad to hear things are running smoothly, but sorry to hear Steve is a bit disorientated. That must be hard for all of you.

With the carer being late - could it maybe go into his care plan that the morning and evening school run are totally sacred? Then the carers could try to be especially on time! Most other things can wait, after all

LilRedWG · 09/04/2008 12:30

Am glad everything is working out so well OJ!
