Does anyone get small burst blood vessels in their fingers?

I get them occasionally one did it today, it’s itchy first then there’s a sting and a bruise appears that seems to sting when I touch it and quite tender. I’ve had them a few times but they don’t happen very often. My Mum gets them too.

I do. I've never really worried about them though

I've had this 3 or 4 times over the years.

Sounds like Achenbach: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8684606/

I have it too. It happens to me when I'm carrying something too tightly or too heavy and it puts too much pressure in a small area. I bursts the veins. Then feels burny and itchy afterwards. Predominantly affects middle-aged women. It's not dangerous, as I understand it and self-resolves faster than any treatment could work.

I’m not worried about it just curious. That’s an interesting read ToThineOwnSelf, definitely sounds like what it is.

Yes! Really interested to find out it has a name and be able to read more about it. I've had this for years but it's been more frequent this last year or so, and I had a really painful incidence of a burst blood vessel in my palm last year. It made me worry that I might be more at risk of aneurysm or something. I'd be very happy to find out this isn't the case!
