Anyone had a virus like this?

Started Tuesday feeling rough and exhausted with a slight cold. Slept for 2 days and cough developed and has got worse. Had a temperature and rash to go with it but that's subsided. Now got a painful sore throat and ears. Cough feels like I have a cobweb in my lungs.
Felt marginally better yesterday but today I feel terrible. Feels like after 4 days of a virus I should be on the mend. Very fed up.
Husband has it but is still managing to be up and about whereas I have zero energy and can't move,

I was covid negative two days ago, but still wiped out. Very chesty, constantly blowing my nose, and in bed a lot.

I was feeling massively exhausted too but didn't test for flu.

I'm fairly lucky as have had all covid jabs and flu jabs (get flu jabs every year as I get asthma and actually the chemist I got it in last autumn was encouraging everyone to get covid and flu jabs!) so if I do get anything it's not that bad!

They say if you can't/won't get out of bed to grab a £5 note out of someone's hand then it's flu - and yes, I was like this last week and early part of this week.

This virus has been the one from hell this week and last week.

My NDN and best friend who won't take the flu jab as she believes it doesn't help or causes something else I think now might take it. Her Pilates teacher she does 121 sessions with is a bit of a conspiracy theory I think and told her that. my friend is an ex stroke recoverer for 5 years now though and is also a live in carer for her DM who's 87.

She feels awful is signed off work for 7 days and getting a sick note for next week too.

Was coughing so much I threw up and aching all over. Rang the GP and was surprised to get a same day nurse appointment who prescribed antibiotics. No strength at all and no appetite. Day 5 now. Hoping the antibiotics kick in soon. This feels worse than COVID…
