i ve got a really really bad foofy

its very sore, swollen, bright red, extremely hot and now i can see/feel a few spots
i cant sleep properly, im literally screaming in pain and its making me feel really dirty. i ve had thrush and it doesnt seem to feel as if its thrush, its seems to be spreading towards my bum now and im dreading having to go to the toilet.

i really dont want to go the docs cos im a young mum and i dont want them to think its a STI or STD from sleeping around (there s no offence meant but in my area its really common) im with ds father and we're getting married so its not like i ve been with any one else. i ve even looked on the internet to see if its anything to do with ingrowing hairs.

the only way i can describe it is its like a mix of thrush, piles, and a heat rash.

its soooo embarrassing but i can hardly walk and its getting me down.

has anyone had simular?? i ve been under a lot of stress recently and feeling really down. so this could be why im under the weather sorta thing.

please help me.

This isn't embarassing. Embarassing is when you've lost a PlayMobile Pirate up your foofy. Infections however are par for the course and a normal part of a woman's life. See your GP as soon as possible and get it cleared up.

milfAKAmonkeymonkeymoomoo · 20/03/2008 11:10

LOL @ MP, has that happened to you then!!??

brimfull · 20/03/2008 11:11

mp was the gun pointing up?

Buda · 20/03/2008 11:12

Mp you are in a sharing mood at the mo aren't you!

PeatBog · 20/03/2008 11:13

MP, is there something else you need to share

Chicky, you poor thing, pleeeeese go to the doctor - especially as it's a bank holiday, so it'll just get more difficult to see one over the weekend.

MrsMattie · 20/03/2008 11:14

Go the Doctor / GUM clinic a.s.a.p. Don't suffer any longer and don't be embarrassed!

p.s. what's all this 'foofy' nonsense about? It's fanj in these 'ere parts.

procrastinatingparent · 20/03/2008 11:15

Good point PeatBog - ring now, Chicky! Say it is an emergency because it is. You don't want to feel like this all weekend do you? Please go because it will not clear up on its own.

boudoiricca · 20/03/2008 11:17

Chicky, pp is right and we are going to sit here and bug you until you tell us you've been on the phone and booked an appointment.

there is one thing, i had a reaction to a certain type of condom but that was weeks ago and it cleared up then. and we havent used them since. but there is one major other thing which i really should have mentioned but i havent told DP yet...

i got a horrible feeling im pregnant. we was having afew drinks months ago, (my mum had ds) and we know we had sex but after i couldnt remember taking my pill that day but we are talking 4/5 months ago and i ve been regularly on since but i ve been gaing weight as if im pregnant. i just cant seem to lose it and people have even commented and asked if i was expecting. i really want another baby, and i mean really!! but DS only 10 months and we want to wait untill he s about 18months before ttc.
when having ds my periods didnt stop untill i was 5 months gone. i dunno my body is telling me that im pregnant but it cud be cos i really want a baby. also i got thrush when having ds and lots of water and kidney infecs which i ve been having.

all in all the answer is really to go to the doctors.

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 20/03/2008 11:20

get thee to the doctors, woman!

(and if you really feel you may be pg, you could do a test first, although it is unlikely that you would be pg after missing just one pill. If you are 5 months pg, the test won't be wrong)

boudoiricca · 20/03/2008 11:22

Yes, you're right - the answer is REALLY to go to the docs! Please! Tell them you need an urgent appointment.

Call them now - tell them everything you just told us, and they can work through everything one step at a time.

The alternative is stressing about all this until Tuesday... You can so easily fix it, youi just have to take a deep breath and be brave.

zippitippitoes · 20/03/2008 11:22

i recently had a mild version of that

it was tesco washing powder for colours

grouphug · 20/03/2008 11:23

Get to the doctors NOW even more important if you might be pregnant as he can do a test. You must tell you Dr you might be pregnant if they are giving you antibiotics.

GreatAuntieWurly · 20/03/2008 11:23

doctors now!!!

snooks · 20/03/2008 11:28

CCCC

I hope you have rung the doctors by now

[snooks has stern face on]

PLEASE!

Nappyzone · 20/03/2008 11:28

ring now - its bank holidy weekend and it could get a lot worse - pick up the phone and say you need an appt today

emma1977 · 20/03/2008 11:30

Get yourself a GP appointment today.

What your experiencing sounds unpleasant and causing you distress, so you wouldn't be wasting anybody's time.

I'm a GP and would hate to think of a patient of mine being too embarrassed to come and see me about something so personal and worried that I might judge them. If they ask you questions about sexual partners, its because they need to to get an idea of what is going on, not because they think you've been sleeping around. Remember, everything that you tell them is confidential.

As others have said before, we REALLY have seen it all before and then some! I'm so used to looking at other ladies bits that I don't consider it to be any more embarrassing or intimate than looking down someone's throat- its just my job!

Its also important that you mention that you could be pregnant because it will affect what medication can be prescribed.

Good luck.

stuffedolivia · 20/03/2008 11:30

You poor thing - sounds excruciating - but which is worse: 5mins potential embarrassment at dr's, or waking up on sat a.m. and realising that you'd give anything to get it sorted but have no chance of seeing a doctor before tues....?

morningpaper · 20/03/2008 11:31

yes ring the GPs now

we will keep shouting at you until you do

You can go out and buy a pregnancy test kit and know in 1 hour if you are up the duff or not - if you WANT to know

p.s. no I have never lost any toys up my fanjo

ChickyChickyChooChoo · 20/03/2008 11:34

emma1977 · 20/03/2008 11:36

As an aside, you wouldn't believe some of the things I've removed from fanjos over the years.

Apart from the obligatory sex toys, lost tampons, lost condoms, vegetables, etc. I've removed a bottle of babycham, a book of stamps and a remote control!

Some people obviously have far more interesting lives than me.

Nappyzone · 20/03/2008 11:36

oh bugger! ring now then as you know it takes hrs to get in out of hrs places!

zippitippitoes · 20/03/2008 11:37

lol at book of stamps

DumbledoresGirl · 20/03/2008 11:37

A book of stamps? Did they think they had to pay postage for the delivery?

The mind boggles.

CCCC, try looking for your nearest GUM clinic in the Yellow Pages. Good luck.
