Hi there everyone so I had a private ultrasound scan and I was told there's some cystic areas on my left adnexa area.. I was advised a gyni review.. fast forward to yesterday I seen my gyni and she looked at the report and said it does sound like hydrosalpinx.. she didn't look at the images though just read the report from the sonographer who did put possibly hydrosalpinx.. has anyone ever had this and if so what wer your symptoms.. I currently have pelvic .. groin .. back and leg pain.. and its making me feel ill.. just want to know other peoples experiences please.. thanks my lovelies xxxxx

Hi @Sara08 could you email the secretary? Lay out your concerns based on your pain levels and frequency.

today is the first day I have taken no pain relief. Incidentally I’m doing a bodywork course since Thursday and until Sunday and I think it is helping me relax and it is dealing with the energetic blocks that are within the pelvis from all that has been happening. Pain is a complex thing and the more we worry the worse the pain will be.

my gp referral letter came through today for the private consult on 25 March. I’m hopeful it will be approved on my private insurance policy. I really liked the consultant I’m going to see when I met him for my adenomyosis assessment (which was through nhs)

I feel like I’m less scared of what’s going on and more trusting in my body but that’s because I’m lucky enough to be in that kind of space at the moment: @Sara08 i wish you could be too.

turnaroundtouchtheground · 25/03/2024 12:28

@Sara08 how are you?
I saw the consultant today. He wants to
do an MRI. Agreed it didn’t sound like there had been an infection and it was an odd picture. That’s my next step. Pain still there but has improved.

Hi @turnaroundtouchtheground im so sorry i have lost my other account

are you still active on this ????

Deedoo · 09/12/2024 12:38

@Sara0 @turnaroundtouchtheground How are you both? I'm going through the exact same thing

Sara0 · 09/12/2024 13:49

@Deedoo mine is endometriosis and adenomyosis in the end.. the hydrosaloinx was caused by endo tissue blocking my tubes ..

what’s ur symptoms

Deedoo · 09/12/2024 13:50

@@Sara08 exact identical symtoms as you and my gyna wants to do laparoscopy plus I have a nerve pinch in my spine so double whammy really falling apart. Did you have the tube and endo removed

Sara0 · 09/12/2024 14:24

@Deedoo I’m awaiting surgery for a hysterectomy and while I’m waiting I am on prostap Injections which have been god sent! Have u been scanned ?

Deedoo · 09/12/2024 14:46

@Sara08 Iv had mri and a tv scan 4 weeks ago. This finding was on my mri report. WhY hysterectomy? I thought it was only the Fallopian tube? What are prostap injections?

Sara0 · 09/12/2024 15:10

@Deedoo I am fedup to my tits with pain.. I want it all out I’m 32 my family is complete I have 3 little
boys… adenomyosis is on the uterus and only cure is hysterectomy..

prostap injection switch the ovaries off so it gives temporary pain relief… it’s a breeze for me I love them as I’m pretty much pain free..

mine was picked up on TV scan with a endo specialist so for me it’s just a waiting game ..
have you got a date for your lap ?

Sara0 · 09/12/2024 15:11

i have endometriosis all over my womb :(

Deedoo · 09/12/2024 15:13

@Sara08 where did you go for your scan? My mri didn't pick up endo but my gyna said it could still be endo. Never had issues until my last 2 cycles. So fed up of the pain I need those injections
