Does anyone have a cold ATM

I've had an achy sore throat on and off all week. Today my chest feels tight and my body aches. I've also got a burning face.

Is there a summer cold doing the rounds? I don't even want to think about Covid!

I had Covid last week.Started with a mild sore throat but then spent about 5 nights awake from coughing.
Found it much more severe this time even though I had the Covid booster.

We’ve had an absolutely horrible cold which lasted well over a week and both tested negative for covid. Something is definitely going around because several of my colleagues have also had it but we work remotely and are in various locations in different parts of the country. They all felt bad enough to test and were negative.

I've woken up with an awful cough my head, throat and chest hurt!
Not doing a covid test unless my employer tells me I have to.
Hopefully it's just a cold.

I had this last week – felt so rubbish, with the burning face and everything, that I did a Covid test but it was negative. It passed after about three days, but the kids had it too.

This is day 5, 3rd day of being awake since 4:30 and intermittent sleep, I also get married tomorrow.

I am irritable and exhausted. We leave in 3 hours and I am not even fully packed.

Yes. I'm on a residential summer course and half the staff and kids have had it.

Both got it here. Started with sore throat. Sneezing, cough and so much snot! Over ten days now.

Just had a cold that morphed into bronchitis. GP said they’re seeing chest infections all year round now

DS has been ill for a week and a half with a cold, he’s now on antibiotics as it went to a chest infection. He missed all the end of year treats at school.

Bloody hell, there's definitely something doing the rounds then!

Heading to work shortly, not sure how much of the day I'll manage. I'm now dripping in sweat. Hoping I can power through the day on paracetamol.

My throat and ears are killing. This is day 9 after finishing teaching.

I've just emailed the GP as we go away soon and don't want to feel crap abroad!

I commute to work every day on train/tube and I can tell you that I have not been on a carriage without someone coughing badly and/or a stuffy nose (like a cold rather than hayfever) for a few weeks now so there's definitely something doing the rounds

I am washing my hands more but preparing for the inevitable!
