Hi I am looking for advice to try and calm me down I can’t stop crying and thinking I won’t be around for my dc

for as long as I can remember I have had rectal bleeding on and off always bright red sometimes I go months then it happens again but goes away. Life is busy and by the time iv got round to worrying it’s stopped. This current episode has been happening since Tuesday and I’m in bits.

sometimes before a poo my stomach feels tight - thoight that was normal thoigh and goes away when I poo

im obese

I eat crap

the poo is fresh and not in the poo but when I look it’s always in one part of the toilet pan I think it’s either on the first or last but if that makes sense ? Pink when I wipe but bright red on toilet

t
since reading about it I think there might be a pressure - I think this started when I had a harder poo I recall it feeling sharp

my pops have mostly been solid until tiday when I took a Cambridge shake then 2 hours later was on the toilet with diorhea - recall this happened before on Cambridge

im so worried it’s cancer anyone else has this? Iv been an idiot in terms of not looking after my health

Sorry to be graphic but have to had a gentle feel around the outside of that ‘area’!? If it feels like there is a small grape type bump, probably haemorrhoids. You can get them inside and out so don’t panic if you can’t feel anything. Definitely go see doctor to get it checked, but if it is, they will probably just prescribe anusol pessaries and ointment. Apparently a common for women who have carried babies.

Iv been using piles cream twice a day since Saturday night. It helped first of all but then on Monday morning had a really hard poo and lots of blood again.
i was so upset had a bottle wine last night which always gives me diorhea and todsy iv had only one instance of bleeding, when it’s diorhea there’s nothing so I’m confused!

I have bloods tomorrow and then internal Friday. I’m terrified they won’t find anything

It’s also really likely to be piles or a tear, and having the rectal exam could confirm that.

think of it as a process of elimination. It’s a process. If you are sore, then yes it could be a fissure. I’ve been bleeding, but I’m not sore if that makes sense? But then I haven’t got piles or a fissure - hence having other investigations.

I have a feeling of fullness round there

I have also just brought some fibre chewable (which were lovely btw lol) and hoping that might help soften it a bit
I always feel a sharp scratch when it comes out and this episode def started when I was eating a lot of fried food
