I've been having them for a while now, I went to get my eyes tested today but though I havent got 20 20 vision my eyes are not bad enough to need glasses. What else could it be? It's really getting annoying now.

Are you feeling stressed out? When I am thats how it manifests itself in me. Subsequently, I have a headache more often than not .

Stress, high blood pressure ??

loopylou6 · 15/01/2008 16:24

it could be stress, it could be eye strain, (am not sure if they pick that up on an eye test or not) it could be dehydration

hormones? I get headaches the week before AF.

My DH is a walking headache. Ranging from mild to migraine. All the time.

loopylou6 · 15/01/2008 16:25

mellow i think i have a problem with my back wisdom tooth and OMG the pain ive been having in my head and that side of my face is shocking

Kbear · 15/01/2008 16:25

sugar levels in the blood can affect me too = if I'm hungry I get a headache.

OnACaffieneHigh · 15/01/2008 16:28

Caffeine gives me a headache.

Shitemum · 15/01/2008 16:28

dehydration

MascaraOHara · 15/01/2008 16:29

I suffer with this too and then can last days at a time. bleurgh

LoveMyGirls · 15/01/2008 16:29

I had my wisdom teeth out on the right hand side about 6 mths ago.

The headaches are on going so can't jsut be hormones and i've never suffered like this before.

I haven't got a cold so could it be sinuses if not got a cold?

Stress - Humm tricky one I guess I did think it was stress related when they first started a few months ago but things are on the up now and i'm feeling positive, I think it's going to be a good year so wouldn't say I'm stressed at the moment infact everything is quite good. I'm not even tired (was feeling stupidly tired not so long ago)

TMI - i've been quite constipated recently (seems to be getting better as i've been drinking loads) so can't be dehydrated.

I drink about 4 cups of tea a day, is that too much?

Husbands and children

Tiredness always kicks it off for me, do you have small baby keeping you awake or worrying about anything, kbear also rite hunger can give you bad head ache, could be that you are suffering with migraine, light hurts your eyes, feeling sick or being sick strange taste in mouth, dizziness. Worse than headache the pill can make it worse or even cause it i would see your gp, they may give you some tablets called migraleve. Also cheese, orange ( orange flavour) chocolate i have found makes mine worse or can bring it on

My friend got terrible headaches until she had her coil taken out. Could it be anything like that?

LoveMyGirls · 15/01/2008 16:37

dd2 is 2 and sleeps fine most of the time, dp usually gets up in the night if she wakes because he hears her and i dont (I'm a very heavy sleeper) definatly no other symptoms of anything.

I was worried about money but things are on the up so not really any need for me to stress it will sort itself out in time as long as we're not extravagant (which we're not anyway)

I had really bad Headaches just after the birth of my DS and it turned out I had an overactive thyroid - other symptoms I had though were feeling very very hot, losing weight though eating the same and I was also very anxious. Of course everyone thought I was just getting post-natal depression but a blood test sorted it out and I was put on medication. Worth checking that and blood pressure out, and don't let them just fob you off with "it's stress, try pilates!" Now I get headaches again and I think it's hormonal due to perimenopause (lovely!). The doc prescribed me a wonder pill called pizotifen which makes the headaches go away, it's some kind of antihistamine I think. Good luck , I know what it's like!!

jumpingbeans · 15/01/2008 16:42

lol, sorry pixel?

Ok I will try the drinking more and see how I get on, Thanks everyone!

DTY - if i thought this was anything serious I would go to the gp's but it's such a minor thing I didn't want to bother, so don't think i'm worried about the secret thing you were saying, I was just getting anoyed with the headaches as i've never really been one to suffer with headaches apart from when I needed glasses when I was at school, that's why i got my eyes tested but was baffled when my eye test was ok.

Though I did also htink maybe it was carrying on from beiong stressed a couple of weeks ago even though the cause of the stress has gone it's hard to totally relax after being so wound up about things i guess.
