So after struggling with weight gain since 2020 and drinking farrrrr to much Diet Coke I have officially declared myself as a total disgrace !!! I absolutely need to shift this weight and after trying weight watchers, SlimmingWorld, keto, slim fast, you name it- i have tried it all so I'm doing good old fashioned sensible eating this time with no restrictions!!! I want to loose 3 stone and I will
Do it!!! Anyone joining me???

I came back from the school run and DH had made toast and it smelt divine! But I stayed strong! 💪

Post school-run is the worst time of day for me, as I'm starting to get peckish but it's still a few hours until we have dinner, especially if we have to take the children to football training first, so I tend to snack a lot at that time of day!

@SuzyQ12 I hear ya! I'm such a boredom eater so I have to try to always keep busy otherwise I end up in the fridge 🙈 I'm just finishing my break in work then that'll be me until tomorrow.

I find evenings worse , finish work and waiting for dinner and then later on
Have really stuck to it for a good few days now but need to up exercise as wfh so dob't even have to walk to work
Planning on doing some evening walks and just trying to sort our a second hand excercise bike so i can do some in evenings instead of eating

That's amazing. Today at work was hard as lots of choc and crisps for international Nurses day this week. I managed to resist and even put back a brioche that someone placed next to me as I typed!

2.5lbs off so far after 3 days of 1200 calories! However am reaching the ‘danger’ part of the week where from Thursday night through to Monday it gets hard. I associate Thurs eves with a nice relaxing glass of wine, then fridays with takeaway and wine, and weekends with whatsever food and drink I can shove in my mouth 🙈. If I can get through the next few days, I’ll be proud! I’m going to allow myself extra calories over the weekend (1200 is so low, I’ve been starving for 3 days now) as if I try to stick to 1200 I know I will fail. So maybe 1800 for the weekend. I should hopefully still continue to lose weight!

Need to shed some weight... Ti's summer and all.

But it's so tough! Had chicken salad for lunch yesterday and today and already sick of the veggies. And yes I KNOW how to switch it up etc etc.

Hopefully with this thread things will be easier

All good here. Fast was over 17 hours. Broke it with an oven baked frittata - leftover salmon and some veggies. Actually really easy to make too! Tonight is roast chicken with roast cauli. Had a spoon of peanut butter as my youngest made me get her pb on toast which is my all time favourite! It’s been a good week so far!

Hi everyone! Well done in all your milestones today! I have been 4 days off the Diet Coke and still steering away from 'bad food' and have lost 3 since Monday. My official weigh in day will be sat. I started at 11st 10 and I would love to be 9stone eventually 😁

I am also 2 lbs down this week. I didn’t record my starting weight but reckon I am approaching half a stone down in less than 2 weeks, although mainly water I guess. But I definitely feel flatter and less bloated around my middle so feeling super positive!

What a horrible day! DS is going through terrible two’s stage now (although he is almost 1.5yr only) and it just went all wrong today, including my healthy eating! Depressing. And i would kill to get a coke now!

That's amazing!

I don't actually weigh myself as it messes with my head but I am pleased I have stuck with it for a week.
Now just a weekend to get through.

@Sunshineandrainbow to be honest I usually don't weigh either as I prefer to stick with how my clothes feel as it's a more accurate reading of loss I feel

Well done you that's amazing.
I am a bit worried my calories are too high. Its set at 1700 a day. I am 18.5 stone ish. Does this sound right?

@Sunshineandrainbow 1700 a day would be a deficit, so you should lose sticking to that :)
