please please reassure me AF has just gone for xmas break and will its usual reappearence soon.

digital one was good IME - it must have just come my way instead. Tell you what - you can have it back next month. How's that for fair?!

i havent been stressed, but xmas was very emotional, as it was dh xmas since transplant, and did have afew weepy sessions. i was fretting before xmas that it may all go wrong as it had done for many years and was so tied to the hospital before.

i feel all crampy and AF-y, not pregnant at all.

do you think it could just be because i was so 'emotional' over xmas?

my -ve result is playing on the Wii atm, he's meant to be resting because he's been sick all day but you know.

But the +ve result I had for ds4 was positive before I even wee'd on the stick...it seemed to smell it while it was still in my bladder and it shouted "You're PG, you stupid bint " at me so I don't think it is a boy thing....

I once had a 56 day cycle for no reason.

my mum never did test positive for her first pg, negatives all the way through!.....and he's 32 now (maybe it's a boy thing.......although saying that I've got 3 DS's and they all showed up bfp a few days before I was even due!)

misdee, my AF with this PG i was convinced i was coming on any minute...wasn't until i was actually sick that i took a test.

i ahd the boy thing with my two ds's

with ds1 i actually felt kicks before i got a positive test!!! was 24 weeks when they scanned me, now that was a shock! pmsl!

same again with ds2 i knew i was pregnant as had that feelign and had been trying so kind of knew, but still no positive test until i could feel movements and was 18 weeks!

dd i knew straight away, felt sick but was never actaulyl sick and went off sex! positive test at three days before af due.

any sign yet???

I got told on here I was "so pregnant". They were wrong.

Wait a bit longer and do another test but act as if you are pg so you are protecting the baby, if there is one.

Am still bf and ds2 is 9 mths but have had 2 normal 29 day cycles and although we dd have sex without protection twas like the day after my af finished oh about 40 days ago now.

I was so busy fretting about not having one that I didnt have time to enjoy the break!

i havent had one since last august when I went on mini-pill. Do get a little panicky every month, even tho i know in my mind I'm not, I still end up getting a test to be 100% sure

I had a 54 day cycle recently. Freaked me out, but then they settled back into a routine of sorts... I did a test even though I had a coil.... no reason for it at all - one of those things

still nothing, test this morning was negative.

It's difficult isn;'t it? You would be about 6 weeks now, non? Depending on ovulation...which can be mucked up by all sorts of things...

I don't know any other reasons you might not have one.

Oh. hate to suggest it but do people sometimes get neg tests with an EP?

i am thinking its just because i was under stress for so long, that now my body is havign a rest in all respects. last month i was ill for 3 weeks, and very run down and low during that time, a simple cold floored me.

Yes. That's right, you would probably be in a lot of pain.
From what you say about last month I would reckon it is just a late ovulation which was scuppered by your being ill and run down. This happens a lot, don't worry.

You could see the doc just to ask if there are any other reasons it might be, then they could do some simple tests etc. and put your mind at rest?

I'd leave it a few weeks rather tha put yourself through the hassle of a gp appt! If you start feeling unwell/have pains that is different thought.

Actually yes, GP is the last place I'd want to go at the moment, there are lots of ill people around
