Perhaps if you use our mn names on your back you'll have more people nodding and saying 'I know who that is' than you would with real names!

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 01/01/2008 19:23

If I run the Race For Life post-pregnancy, can I use the (.)- on my t-shirt please anorak?

It also applies to a dear friend of mine who's DCs are aged just 2 & 4.

Lmccrean · 01/01/2008 20:39

DD (4) and I walked it last year and there were twin girls about 8 or 9, each with the back signs stating "Im doing it for my twin". some of the notes were heart wrenching. 3 members of my family have cancer at different stages (aunt - remission, uncle - amazed doctors by not only living til xmas but going skiing and hiking in last few weeks , and my grandpa. ) but I will def include mnetters on my sheet.

anorak · 01/01/2008 21:16

Duchess you don't need my permission. I don't own punctuation marks

I was wondering how you were, Anorak [gentle hug]

anorak · 01/01/2008 21:42

Hello soupy! I'm okay. More news Friday after I see the surgeon again. Happy New year!

Kimi · 02/01/2008 09:54

MB I have been taking part in a lot of things of late to raise money and awareness of pancreatic cancer, in memory of a friend.
So far we have raised almost £20,000 in a year and are still going.
I think it is one of the least spoken about cancers and to my shame had never really known anything about it till we lost our friend.
It would be an honor to add Mr MB to the list of people I will be running for, if that is ok with you.

Fairy where are you running, maybe we could do it together.

Blandmum · 02/01/2008 16:50

this is so kind of you all. mr mb will be chuffed to bits.

It is thanks to the reserach being done at the moment that he is still with us, and has just had a great christmas.

That £20000 may well have been put towards the resech grant that came up with his current drug protocal!

So that you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Misdee · 02/01/2008 16:55

kimi, stanborough park in wgc, herts.

anorak · 02/01/2008 17:03

There's a Stanborough Park in Watford you know. I passed it many times when I was living in that area.

jofeb04 · 02/01/2008 17:06

Hope you don't mind me joining in!

I'm planning on running (walking) the RFL in Cardiff as well.

Anorak, Mb (and of course Mr MB) are you happy for me to run for you as well?

Misdee · 02/01/2008 17:17

Blandmum · 02/01/2008 17:27

Mr MB would be delighted to have anyone run 'for' him.

anorak · 02/01/2008 18:03
