DD has been sick 16 times since 8am, she is refusing to even sip water or take any fluid, would offering her an ice lolly be bad?

She is 7 (just)

Has been sick 16 times already today (she has been counting!!) she wont even sip water or anything (not even to rinse out her mouth) She took some calpol about half an hour ago (and hasn't been sick again.

Would it be ok to give her an ice lolly, I only have cheapo crappy ones, so they are obviously not ideal, but better than nothing I would have though?? She hasn't been to the toilet once today, so I think she really needs something!

She looks so pale!

(I am meant to be at a lovely wedding with champagne, and I have a lovely new dress and shoes and bag and necklace, which will all be unworn.....sigh.....)

DD has had a really sore stomach with it too! How is your DS now? Sorry to hear you missed your friend's wedding too.

DD hasn't been sick since 1 o clock and has eaten 5 melba toasts!! So I think she is finally on the mend!

Wishing us all a sick free christmas!

Have a good time with your family DG

try ice cubes or squash or flat lemonade/coke.
