For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I was about to ask what "abanan cauliflour" was because it sounded so exotic.
I have been eating dairy-free fudge and coconut ice and chocolate. Because I am tired

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 21/12/2007 23:18

i cant seem to type letters in the right order

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 21/12/2007 23:18

ah do u get this thing wehen u find u arent sure if u are tired or hungry or they sort of get confused together

TooTickyDoves · 21/12/2007 23:19

I see. Sorry, nothing springs to mind. Sorry.
I have bought stuff but think I may need more. It's the balancing that is so tricky

TooTickyDoves · 21/12/2007 23:21

Yes. Sort of. I get too hungry and tired to cook and then it all spirals downwards. Because now I have eaten, but the wrong things. I am crying out for nutrition but still too tired to cook.

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 21/12/2007 23:21

OverRated · 22/12/2007 00:01

BBBee · 22/12/2007 10:23

i have a similar irrational thing with th word 'kids'

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 22/12/2007 10:29

oh dear i shall have to stop posting on here i think

BBBee · 22/12/2007 10:38

oh no zippi darling - I recognise that this is completely insane. Was on the phone tp my sister last night and she said 'kids' and then said 'oh god i can;t even see you and i know you are cringing'

it is totally my problem not yours!

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 22/12/2007 10:40

funnily enough when i did have ypung children i never said it, but i have change d since then lol

BBBee · 22/12/2007 10:49

thinking about it there are loads of irrational things that make me cringe - often abbreivations like 'corrie' and 'veggie'

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 22/12/2007 10:53

i spend my entire time with teenagers and twenty somethings

i only know a couple of people older than that so i guess i have been worn down over time

Bocohohoho · 22/12/2007 12:08

I have the same issues Bee. I hate it when people say 'hubbie', and 'pressies' and 'Crimble'. If someone said 'has hubbie got you a pressie for Crimble' i'd probably explode.

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 22/12/2007 12:35

zippi slips away quietly while being pelted with fowlers english usage

TooTickyDoves · 22/12/2007 13:09

So Boc, has hubbie bought you a pressie for Chrimbo?

I replied to your email btw but sometimes I get spammed - didn't want you to think I hadn't bothered

yulemoonfiend · 22/12/2007 13:20

I only use kids in a derogatory style. But I slipped up and said kids to ds's teacher. Who then wound me up totally by pretending he hadn't heard what I said until I said children. Which is irrational because i hate saying kids. But it did make me hate him a little...

BBBee · 22/12/2007 13:20

my computer had a mini relapse a secdond a go (i know you are all intrigued!)
