I’ll go first.

In bed for 10pm and usually asleep for 10:30pm. Up at 6.30ish.

Bed around midnight weekday alarm at 6.40, though kittens usually get me up before 6 (and I am usually up once or twice a night for the toilet). Weekends may stay up later and laze around in bed til 9 or so but again I'll have been up to feed the cats and let them and the dogs out.

Normally, bed for around 10:30 and have the tv on in the background on a timer for an hour - usually zonked before the tv goes off! Alarm set for 7:15am but usually get up at 7:30.

Currently though, in bed for 9 and awake every 2 hours due to PGP or baby pushing on bladder! Or is it subconsciously my body getting ready for the night feeds lol!

My insomnia is so bad I don't have a set schedule. I've never been able to fall asleep quickly or stay asleep.
Yesterday it was bed at 3.40 and then I woke up multiple times.

lazylinguist · 08/11/2021 21:41

I go to bed between 10 and 10:30, go to sleep about 11, get up at 7. Never get up in the night, but do have occasional phases where I can't get to sleep for a couple of hours, or repeatedly wake up at 5:30 and can't go back to sleep.

ParmigianoReggiano · 08/11/2021 21:46

Similar to you OP. Go upstairs around 10/10.15. Asleep by 11. Wake around 6.30 (naturally - no need for an alarm).

SmellyNelliey · 08/11/2021 21:57

Bed around 10.30-11 and in the night then up in the morning at 7.15am and I often nap between 1pm-3pm in the afternoon!! I can't keep my self awake 😴😴😴

coffeepleeease · 08/11/2021 21:58

Bed between 9-10pm
Up god knows how many times through the night with DD who is 5 years old but has sleep problems
Up at 7.30am on week mornings, and whenever DD wakes on weekends - usually 8-8.30am

greedygut · 08/11/2021 21:59

Bed around 11.30 asleep ( hopefully by ) 12.30 then wake up around 5.30 - 6.30 up around 7 sometimes earlier
If DP is away I instantly go Feral and go to bed around 3am up around 7.30

WarmthAndDepth · 08/11/2021 22:05

Sleep envy! Start lesson prep and marking once DC are asleep, washing up done and put away and the house is sorted, at about 22.00. Depending on how much school work there is to do, I go to sleep late, rarely before 1am, literally close my laptop if working in bed and turn out the lights. Try really hard to stay asleep until 6.30am, but wake up earlier if DP gets up early.
The idea of going to bed at 9.30 sounds like a dream. I'd love to have a nicer evening routine with some winding down time and relaxation. This is a big reason why I'm thinking of ditching my career.

I go to bed at 11,get up around 7,in winter,5.30 in summer. Retired from nearly 30 years of night shifts. Sometimes sleep one hour which was the break at work, awake the next 3 hours.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 08/11/2021 22:43

Now I don’t have to get into work for 8.30 my day has shifted. I tend to go to bed about 12.30, and get up between 7.45 and 8.45 depending on my calendar. I’m always logged in before 9, but might not be showered until later if I don’t have something on first thing. I’m working more in the evenings now which I never did before and really want to stop.

Before Covid I was in bed about 11ish and up at 6.30.

@Arren12 sorry... menopause is not being kind to me... you never know, yours may be a breeze (fingers crossed)!

jelly79 · 09/11/2021 09:03

Sleep about 10:30 but sometimes in bed much earlier. Alarm at 6:15

MintJulia · 09/11/2021 09:07

Weekdays I'm in bed by 10.30 or 11 and up at 6.30. Sundays up at 8ish

Occasionally I fall asleep watching tv and wake up in the sofa at 4am Hmm
