Having got throu to the dragon doctor receptionist, i am waiting to hear from doctor but i think Steve will be going into hospital today

well not much sleep last night, steve in a lot of pain and painkillers not working this morning he
is being very sick, i have phoned and left a message for the Mac nurse and i have
phoned and left a message for the doctor, i am hoping they can sort out the
pain for him.
i have trolly dollied throu getting the kids up bathed fed and off to
school, both Beth and Elliot tearful this morning and i am hopeless at
dealing with it all right now.
i will wait for a phonecall from doctor but i think he will want steve in
hospital, Steve doesn't want to be in hospital.

i am off to drink too much coffee.

ok doctor has been and given him a jab for the sickness he has advised us to up the steroids to 3 a day. we were under consultants orders we have been reducing them down to 1 a day but i gave him 2 this morning as he was so crap, so we are back up to three.
he has had new pain killers and kept them down at last.
doctor says if no better in the morning then off to hospital.

Oh I am pleased that the doctor has done someething.

Hopefully you will both have a better night and your DH will get a good nights rest.

Maybe try the consultant in the morning particulerly as it friday tommorow.

Hopefully everything will be on the up.

happy to say that steve has not been sick his anti sickness tablets are now staying down and his pain killers are staying down too his new pain killers are working so he is pain free and sick free, he is so much better

That's really good news, OJ.

yes it's fab, he has had lots to eat today and kept it down
have made his fav choc orange cake now he is eating.

That is the question that i keep on asking, but they are worried about bad long term side effects

oh no - sorry to hear that OJ - does that mean that the anti-sickness pills aren't strong enough and the injections are more effective? My father had that problem. It must be so grim for him (and you) especially having experienced a bit of relief earlier on.

have given him another anti sickness tablet and so far ok

i hope so too, things always get/apear worse at the weekends when the kids are around
